I will start off by saying "WHAT A WASTE OF TIME" I drove over 350 miles to this dealership. I have been speaking with Sam the Manager over email about buying a 2009 Mercedes S550 and trading i TIME" I drove over 350 miles to this dealership. I have been speaking with Sam the Manager over email about buying a 2009 Mercedes S550 and trading in my 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera. We agreed on a trade value for the car and the price of the car (I agreed to pay the sticker price). I tell Sam I will be transporting my Porsche up there so that it would not add to the mileage. I also explained that I would have my bank draft a check for the agreed amount and would be there Sunday to pick up the new Mercedes. I received an email telling me everything was a go and would see me Sunday. !!!!!WARNING!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. The Mercedes ended up with a bad Car Fax and the mileage was 2,500 higher then specified on the dealer site. Then they try to lower the agreed upon trade value by $1,500. I guess assuming since I already drove up there they could try and renegotiate the deal. I run a New Car dealership now for over 10 years. I would never recommend someone to go here especially if you are planning on traveling. You would be wasting your time and money with this place. Sam wasn't there the Owner would not even answer his phone and the salesman had no authority to make a decision. Can you imagine spending over $38,000 for a vehicle and you could not even speak to someone about a issue. GOOD LUCK if you decide to do business with them. Don't say someone didn't warn you. I wasted 7 hours on the road and another $300.00 in gas and transporting my trade vehicle to KINGSTOWNE MOTORCARS......... More
I bought a 2011 Infiniti from Kingstowne on 1/11/2014. I am from Pittsburgh, but i chose to take the risk and drive to VA to pick up the G37xs coupe, a rare find and at very competitive price, nonetheless. am from Pittsburgh, but i chose to take the risk and drive to VA to pick up the G37xs coupe, a rare find and at very competitive price, nonetheless. I chose Kingstowne because I was impressed by their great selection of used luxury cars and because Kingstowne offered great financing, at 3.9 percent on my particular car. Sean the salesmen was very accommodating with me and even offered to reserve the car for me for an entire week until I could drive down. Upon arrival the car appeared to be immaculate condition, I took it for test drive, no problems. I was really happy with the paint and the condition of the car. Sean, was very informative and made sure that the car was the exact one I wanted. He also knew a great deal about the car and answered all my questions. I would expect that from an authorized Infiniti dealer, but from a used car dealer, I was pleasantly surprised. I got the impression that the salesmen at Kingstowne were very knowledgeable and professional. Overall, I was very satisfied with Kingstowne's effort in making my experience with my car purchase exemplary. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED More
I could not be happier with my purchase from Kingstowne Motors. I was in the market for a BMW 650i. I have to be honest and say that I was a little nervous because I have only bought new cars, and the on Motors. I was in the market for a BMW 650i. I have to be honest and say that I was a little nervous because I have only bought new cars, and the one used car I bought was a Lexus directly from the Lexus dealership. I came in to see the BMW 650i. I took the car for a test drive, and when I came back Sean and I sat down to talk about the car. Our conversation was extremely informative, so I told Sean I would get back with him soon. As I was driving off the lot, I couldn't get over how pleased I was with the service and professionalism of both Sean and Bill. So instead of leaving, I came back, and told Sean I was ready to buy. Part of it was that the car was an absolute gem, but I was also greatly impressed with the knowledge I got from Sean about the car. I am by no means an impulse buyer, but they really made me feel comfortable This is not your typical dealer. They know luxury cars because they love luxury cars, and it is obvious! In other words, this was a breath of fresh air compared to the five other dealerships I had been to. They were head and shoulders above their competition. I believe it is mostly because they are not like your typical "car salesmen". Sean and Bill are not pushy at all. They want you to make the best decision for you. After leaving the dealership, I took the car to the BMW Dealership for a full inspection. Just to be safe. The Car was in PERFECT condition. In fact, the mechanic that worked on it said that he was stunned that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the car. He asked me how much I paid, and to quote him "WOW, you got a great deal". "The car is like new" In closing, I don't think I will ever but a car from any other dealership again. Sean and Bill, thank you again for everything!! I absolutely love the car!!!!! I was looking for a used Infiniti M37 fully loaded (Premium, technology and touring packages), I used CarMax, eBay and Autotrader looking for such a car, I wanted a black one with tan/ off-white inter (Premium, technology and touring packages), I used CarMax, eBay and Autotrader looking for such a car, I wanted a black one with tan/ off-white interior. It wasn't easy to find, I found one at CarMax with 59K miles on it and another one at Kingstowne Motors with 33K, so I went with the 33K miles one, which was $2,000 more expensive than CarMax. I would gladly pay the extra money for the lower mileage despite the 600 miles distance between me and Kingstowne Motors. I emailed them to verify the colors in the late evening and got a reply from Sean at 5 AM. I called Sean to negotiate the price "hoping to drop the price further" and after many requests, he dropped $500 only of the $31,000 car, I was hoping to get $1000 off at least. I think I'm not the greatest negotiator but the car is not overpriced and it is the exact one that I wanted, it is a rare used car with all those options and desired colors. I asked Sean if he was interested in my Honda Accord, but he wasn't especially that I informed him that CarMax paid me a good price to sell it. I like the fact that he was professional about that and didn't give me the sweet talk that other dealers would do like "bring the car and I will get you a better deal..." I didn't want to drive the Honda 600 miles to get a bad offer on it. I called the next day and talked to Sam as Sean was off, I had more questions regarding the car and he answered all my questions and even went the extra mile to explain to me how I can roll the taxes in my auto loan since I'm buying it out of state and I will be paying taxes in my state "not at Kingstowne Motors". I was asked to pay $1000 deposit via credit card; they accept Visa and Master Card only. Sam emailed me the receipt and some documents on the same day. Nowhere on their website that indicates there is $299.00 processing fee collected by Kingstowne Motors, the documents that Sam emailed me showed this fee after I paid the deposit. It is a surprising fee that they charge all the time, so the $500 that Sean discounted for me is practically $200 off as I was negotiating a car price out of the door. I wanted to make sure that the car won't be sold to someone else "by mistake" after I paid the deposit especially that there are more than one sales agent in this dealership and mistakes could happen like not knowing that I reserved the car by my deposit, I asked Sam if they can mark the car as "sold" or "pending" in their website but this never happened. I think it was a legitimate request as many dealers do that too including CarMax, they do it even without a deposit. If the car was sold to someone else by mistake then I will lose nonrefundable airplane ticket fees, also I will have to cancel my auto loan as it is one of the strange ones that is tied to the VIN #. Anyway, that didn't happen :) I flew to IAD airport "which is the nearest one to them" and took a cab to Kingstowne Motors, the taxi's fee is around $40. Two days before my trip, I asked Sam if anyone can pick me up from IAD airport but he apologized as they will be busy. I met Sean when I arrived to Kingstowne Motors at 1:30PM; he was already with another customer so Bill took care of the whole transaction. The three guys: Sean, Sam and Bill are super nice and very helpful; they try and make the sale as smooth as possible. I was given the keys to test drive the car alone "which is a nice gesture" and the car is super amazing as expected also it was professionally detailed. I was out of the office at 3PM. I got 2 keys for the car and temporary registration and plates. I didn't start my trip back home yet as I had to fill the empty tank with gas. Bill promised to mail the title in 14 days and I received it in less "10 days", Sam emailed me a tracking number. In general, I highly recommend doing business with Kingstowne Motors, if you find a car that you like at their place then buy it from there. If the car is still under warranty then please make sure to check the exterior, any paint work or accidents. Include a mechanical check if the car is not under warranty. Also don't forget to check the tires or at least inspect them visually. More
I will start by saying that this testimonial will probably not appear on Kingstowne Motorcars list of testimonials because it may appear somewhat negative. I paid cash for a 2008 Acura RL on 10-22- probably not appear on Kingstowne Motorcars list of testimonials because it may appear somewhat negative. I paid cash for a 2008 Acura RL on 10-22-2013 with a $299.00 processing fee. I received my paperwork which consisted of a bill of sale, a reassigned by dealer title and an actual mileage certificate. On 13 Nov 2013 I took all of this paperwork to a Virginia DMV Select only to be told that because Kingstowne Motorcars has an online account with Virginia DMV and can issue tags and titles I would have to take the paperwork back to them or a main VA DMV office. I chose the later. The worst part is, I was charged $11.96 tax on the dealer processing of $299.00 fee when I went to a full blown DMV. So all I got for my $299.00 processing fee was the normal paperwork that would be required from anyone selling a vehicle, 30 day tags and $11.96 tax. Other than that; good cars, good prices and good guys to deal with. Sam and Sean are good people. Would I buy again or recommend Kingstowne Motorcars? YES, with caveats. More
These gentlemen went above and beyond to get methe vehicle I wanted. They spent hours (many past normal business hours) working to get the financing approved. The price of the vehicle was extremely c vehicle I wanted. They spent hours (many past normal business hours) working to get the financing approved. The price of the vehicle was extremely competitive however, it was the overall service that kept there. I would hiughly recommend Kingstown to anyone looking for a luxury pre-owned vehicle. Thanks a lot guys More

WOW!!! WHAT A FIND FOR A PLACE WITH HIGH END QUALITY CARS AT GREAT PRICES!!! I was looking for an Audi A8 and came upon Kingstowne Motorcars while searching Cragslist. I contacted them and went to go CARS AT GREAT PRICES!!! I was looking for an Audi A8 and came upon Kingstowne Motorcars while searching Cragslist. I contacted them and went to go look at the car and it looked even better that described in the listing. I discussed some details with Sam and was allowed to take the car for a “solo” test drive and noticed no major issues. Sam was very honest and, although not flagged by CARFAX reports, pointed out that the car had some minor bodywork done (when does that happen that a used car salesman points out bad stuff to you that isn’t required to). Over the next couple of days, we came to agreement on a price and I was allowed to take the car to the Audi Dealership to have it independently checked out. The car checked out great, with only a handful of minor concerns and Sam agreed to address the key ones. The paperwork process was quick and smooth and now I am in the car of my dreams!! Thanks again Sam and Kingstowne Motorcars. More
Friendly, no pressure dealer. They set a very reasonable price for the car, so there was no haggling. The car had some brake and suspension issues that they repaired prior to offering it for sale. Bill pr price for the car, so there was no haggling. The car had some brake and suspension issues that they repaired prior to offering it for sale. Bill provided invoices for the parts they replaced. A very pleasant car buying experience. More
Very nice dealership, my transaction was 100% dependent on dealer honesty because I bought my car from them over the phone and flew 1,800 miles to pick it up and drive it back to my home. The car was as de on dealer honesty because I bought my car from them over the phone and flew 1,800 miles to pick it up and drive it back to my home. The car was as described and I had no surprises. I would recommend this dealer highly and I am confident they will do the best they can on each sale they make. I am unable to review the financing options they offer as I was a cash buyer but I am sure they offer the same great service in that area. More
