Brought my car in for diagnosis due to check engine light and transmission check light. Was told “after tests, we’ve verified that your transmission is in the beginning stages of failure. We recommend you re and transmission check light. Was told “after tests, we’ve verified that your transmission is in the beginning stages of failure. We recommend you replace it but it is out of production. Nissan no longer builds them”. I then took my car to a transmission repair center who, after running a weeks worth of tests, found that my transmission was in perfect condition and all that was wrong was a loose battery terminal. Now when u try to reach Nissan for a refund since I don’t think it’s fair I paid 200$ for a bad diagnosis, I can’t get through. I don’t know how they run their diagnostics, but idve hoped that for 200$ they’d at least check the basic things like oil, trans fluid, coolant, and battery. I assume they just connect an obdII scanner and call it a day, easy 200$ for 2 minute of work More
