Matt went through the features, did a demo of the technology package, and spent a good deal of time making my daughter comfortable with the car. He showed that he really cares. Having a good product to sell makes it also easier. Mazda 3 was a good choice for her - the safety features made a difference. What made a difference for us on the car side: 1. The eye-catching exterior design. 2. Simple minimalist interior layout - the 7 inch display with the knob is better than the Audi, given that the screen is also a touch-screen. 3. We were driving up from Northern Kentucky to see a car that was listed on the internet and called ahead because we didn't have a lot of time. Our salesperson, Jerod Graber made sure the car was there, answered questions we had about the car and had it ready when we arrived. He was very efficient and informative and navigated us through the buying process once we had decided to pursue buying the car. The rest of the staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
