Replacing a Damaged Tire My experience was not so great. I have a Chrysler 200C and I use it for work. I like it but I have not been happy with the service behind it. I picked up a screw in my rear tire and called to have it replaced. They did not have it in stock and could not get one till after 5:00. I made an appointment for the next day. The next morning I showed up at my appointed time 8:00am and I was directed to a desk who I was told I had an appointment with. After standing there for a few minutes I was told they were not in that day. I was given an appointment with someone who would not be there that day. I was helped by another associate who was very nice. I briefly told my story and she was able to find my file. I did ask if only one tire was replaced, I asked if they could rotate it to the front. I was only the second individual to get seated in the waiting room. About 1 hour later, I was told that they only had to replace one tire and gave me an estimate. I thanked her and asked to proceed. One hour later I was told my car was ready. I paid the bill and went to my car and realized looking at the receipt there was no statement of the rotation. I saw that the new tire was installed in the rear and my tires were not rotated. I went back in to check for sure and they said they did not rotate my tires even though it was noted. The manager was nice and offered to have them rotated for free if I came in another time. The dealer is about 12 miles away and not on my way to work or anywhere. I may have my neighborhood Valvoline rotate my tires for about $20 in about 15 minutes. I do not blame Chanel Elam for the work not done but the quality check of the work not completed in the garage. I was there 8 months ago to have my oil changed and tires rotated. They missed a screw in my tire and I had to turn around and come back to have it fixed after I saw it on my first stop. More
