Kings Dodge Chrysler Jeep responded

We checked this vehicle over found noise coming from the purge system, we replaced the valve and lines to make sure system was working correctly. We also drove two other like vans and they made the same noise coming from the purge system. I offered to test drive these vehicle with customer to show this is a normal function of the vehicle. Customer did not take me up on my offer. I would suggest getting a second opinion if they feel we have not tried hard enough. The issue is we can't change the engineering of the vehicle.

Look, I was told if the dealer is unable to diagnose problem, they should contact STAR for further assistance. I understand your mechanics did the best they can and I appreciate them for trying. But I still don't understand WHY WOULD THEY SAY, there is a problem "noise coming from the purge system" and then later say its normal after hearing it from two other vans? That really doesn't sound right. I've been driving the Van for more than a year and I can assure you this sound I hear was never there on day one. If this sound was normal I wouldn’t even be there in the first place. I apologize I didn't come on Monday, I wasn't sure if losing an hour work be worth coming in for nothing. Van was there in the shop for 2 weeks, I came back picked it up, drove home with same exact sound. I'm not a mechanic but I don't think the problem was even ever the purge system.
