What a joke I called Kingdom at 530pm to inquire on a 2002 Trailblazer. They insisted that I make an appointment to view the car, so I did for 7:45 pm. When I arrived, they tossed me to Erskine, a new salesman. He took some of my info, then said he was going to get the car. A FULL HOUR LATER he returned. Seriously, a whole hour. What's the point of making an appointment to see a particular vehicle if it's not ready when I get there? Oh, about it being ready, when I got to the car, it was dirty as xxxx, garbage and food on the inside, radio ripped out of the dash. It was still a good deal, $3500 for a '02 with 129,000, so I drove it for a few minutes and returned to start talking. At this point, Dan had stepped in to take over for new guy. I was somewhat interested in the vehicle still, so I had them start appraising my Jeep. While there was some downtime, I realized I hadn't run the Carfax, so I did. Hmmmmmm, that's funny, Carfax says this vehicle had 223,000 mi on it in 2012, and was rolled back to 129000. Interesting. They were trying to sell me a car without disclosing that the odometer couldn't be verified. That's illegal. I demanded my keys back, and after a little back and forth, I got them. As we were walking out to get my Jeep, sales manager Dan says to the person appraising it, " give Jeremy his keys back, he found out". I can't believe this would happen at a branded Chevy dealer. Needless to say, I didn't buy anything there. I went to Westphal Chevy in Oswego, where they know how to treat customers, and got a much better deal on a 2002 TB LTZ with only 63000 CERTIFIED miles.
