Took our VW Tiguan in for service due to an engine light on and the auto-stop not properly functioning. King recommended a large variety of services and fixes. We opted only for a battery replacement. They on and the auto-stop not properly functioning. King recommended a large variety of services and fixes. We opted only for a battery replacement. They send an online link to confirm desired services and the quote for service. The initial diagnosis fee, the battery, additional service fees and taxes all came out to a grand total of $400, which I already thought was fairly expensive for a battery replacement but accepted and confirmed the quote for $400. I showed up to pick up the car, and was charged $700 for the battery replacement. I opened the link again to assess the charges and of course, it's to a live website, so it had all since been updated to reflect the $700 in charges. To operate like this as a business - have someone confirm a quote for $400 then charge $700 at the door - is beyond shady practice. They cannot possibly be considered an "elite" dealership if they do this type of thing to customers. They did complete the job, so I gave them the two stars. But a surprise $700 to replace and reassociate the battery seems asinine and disqualifying. It's a form of theft to do that to me on the spot for an additional $300. I will never seek service with them if out of pocket costs are associated with the service. Be careful when confirming quotes for service with King VW. More
We bought from them in 2020 and took delivery of a replacement for that Atlas in 2021. That was a good experience. However, we are now in the market for an EV and found dealers closer to me that had t replacement for that Atlas in 2021. That was a good experience. However, we are now in the market for an EV and found dealers closer to me that had the ID.4 which was one we were looking at. The closest dealer to me was selling at MSRP but because King worked a good deal with us before, we decided to give them a chance. They have several but are participating in taking advantage of people and marking up 8k over sticker. It's now in Tesla Model Y price range and more expensive than the Mach E AWD we are looking at. I will not support any dealer that does this and encourage all to do the same. They will need customers in the near future when sales are tight. They have lost a once satisfied customer. More
I am rating this dealer one star only to be able to post a review and warn others. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. I visited six dealerships that same day, and this one is a review and warn others. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. I visited six dealerships that same day, and this one is by far the sleaziest dealership I've ever been to. I came here with my mom to help her purchase a vehicle. At first, the sales rep was polite. Then there was a sudden shift in attitude as soon as we didn't move forward with a purchase because we wanted to take a day to think about our decision. Sales associates at this dealership are desperate. During negotiations, the sales rep even offered some sort of "coupon" that he had saved from last month, trying to convince us to buy the vehicle (since when do car dealerships provide coupons for purchasing a new car?). After the sales rep went back and forth to his manager several times, we were ready to leave. As a last resort, the sales rep brought in his manager, who was a young guy with glasses and had a heavy accent. He was completely rude. We were fed up with the disrespect and left. We tried to keep the pricing sheet that was presented to us. However, the sales associate flat out said, "I can't let you take that." Keep in mind that I was able to keep pricing sheets from all the other six car dealerships I visited that same day (this was another red flag). I was seriously mind blown how these sales reps are completely oblivious that consumers know how car dealerships operate. I am sharing this review to help other buyers. MSRP is the manufacturer's suggested price. Dealers can play around with these numbers as they please. This dealership tried to play around with the numbers to make us believe we were getting a "good deal." Volkswagen is not as fuel-efficient and reliable as other competitors in the same segment, for starters. Not to mention the expensive cost of ownership, such as the maintenance. The sales associate also told us Volkswagen is removing several safety features due to a chip shortage in future Volkswagen vehicles. Another indicator of Volkswagen's inability to provide a decent value offering. No idea how Volkswagen plans to stay competitive by removing safety features. Who knows if this was just another pathetic attempt by the sales associate to pressure us to purchase the vehicle. A car is a depreciating asset, and there is no way that I am paying more for a Volkswagen than I would for a more reliable car, such as a Toyota or Acura. Volkswagen falls very short compared to its competitors. There is no incentive in buying a Volkswagen. Don't let this dealership fool you and con you into paying more for a Volkswagon than it's worth. If you are still debating whether or not to go to this dealership, just read all the 1-star reviews. You will note that several can attest to this dealership's unethical and deceptive practices. More
I bought a used 2019 Tiguan (not from King VW) that was still under warranty. Beginning in May, the A/C started to blow warm air. We took it first to Ourisman VW. They serviced it with no improvement an still under warranty. Beginning in May, the A/C started to blow warm air. We took it first to Ourisman VW. They serviced it with no improvement and provided only average customer service. Being dissatisfied, we tried King VW and we feel lucky to have found them. If I were to create an ideal service department, I would use King VW as the model. The shop is the biggest, cleanest shop that I have ever seen. And they provide AMAZING customer service. Kevin Fluke was my service advisor and he is professional, helpful, and patient. The car's A/C problem was not routine. It required 3 separate appointments to repair it. When I arrived for the 3rd appointment, they put me into a loaner car and told me that they would not return my car to me until they were convinced it was repaired. It took 3 weeks and a visit from a special technician from VW headquarters to repair it. Along every step of the way, Kevin explained the process with great detail. The week we got the car back, the temps were in the high 90s and the A/C was pumping out such cold air. I would buy another VW simply to have access to this ideal service department. More
I recently bought an Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport with my Sales Rep being Nora Sokhon! I am from Minnesota therefore I had A LOT of questions to insure it was worth my traveling across half the country to b Sales Rep being Nora Sokhon! I am from Minnesota therefore I had A LOT of questions to insure it was worth my traveling across half the country to buy the car. IT DEFINITELY WAS! I love my Cross Sport! In dealing with Nora - I had many questions and he was always available to keep me in the know! We came to an agreement that I would put money down so they would hold the car until I could travel there to confirm I want to proceed with the purchase. Once we got there we test drove it - had a minor hiccup of hearing some whistling which ended up being the roof racks (which we weren't purchasing - they were on there for staging) that were still on - once they were removed it ran and sounded like a dream! Nora went though everything on the car thoroughly. Also, Chuck the Finance Manager was great as well!! They both went through everything thoroughly but quickly so we can get on the road back to Minnesota. I had done a lot of research on these vehicles and prices across the country and I felt like received the best deal with great customer service! Thank you Nora and Chuck at King!! More

Basically the Sales/Finance people love you and will do anything for you up to the point when you buy something. After your purchase, they drop you like a hot rock and won't return your phone calls or emai anything for you up to the point when you buy something. Zero stars - This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My King VW 2015 Passat engine (that was perfectly maintained) began to fail at 70K miles. Right away, I worked with VW Service to s ever experienced. My King VW 2015 Passat engine (that was perfectly maintained) began to fail at 70K miles. Right away, I worked with VW Service to solve the problem. At first, I was told the problem was normal. It was not - my engine was burning about 1 L of oil every 500 miles. Then, on the third trip to the service center, they tell me to replace my PVC Breather valve and the problem should be fixed. I agree to the work however, after 500 miles, my oil level is low again. I bring it back to be told that the only course of action is a new engine at $8.5K. Many other professional mechanics have since told me that a PVC breather should have been found on the first look, if that really was the problem. This service center is lying to customers defrauding them out of thousands and not fixing problems. I was not refunded for the work that did not fix the problem. And all King would offer me was $1500 off a new vehicle. Corporate VW would not assist. That is not even a year end deal. It's a total joke. Do not by a car there and absolutely do not use the service center. More
