From the moment I walked into the dealership I was welcomed and treated with a great deal of professionalism and respect. Their sales manager greeted me warmly and had a sales person, Dan, explain to me about the vehicle. He answered all my questions. His knowledge of the vehicle and his presentation made me feel comfortable, that the dealership I was dealing with, was interested in meeting my expectations. I enjoyed having a no pressure process of purchasing and financing the vehicle. Miguel, the sales manager and Amandio, the finance manager were professionals all the way through the process Now that I have had my vehicle for a week I am convinced that I not only made the right decision about my vehicle, but about the dealership as well. I'm constantly getting compliments, and it's in such great condition that everyone just assumes it's a new car. It's been a really long time since I've owned a car that I can actually be proud of, and it makes all the difference in the world. Anyway, I have to say that even buying the car was painless. They take an experience that's normally difficult and it make it all so easy. The owner was right there and helpful with any questions I had. I've been sending my friends over there now. Rich T. More

I was familiar with all of its quirks, the way it ran, and I was used to getting excellent gas mileage. I couldn't be sure if a new auto would be as good as my old one. But I have to say that my fears were settled as soon as I called and spoke with one of the salespeople. They were really considerate and understanding, and actually had knowledge of my past car! They're real "car people" here, and once I came in, they were able to pull out a few cars that were most similar to my car that I'd told them about over the phone. I was really pleasantly surprised! They took the time to get to know me, and now I have a vehicle that I'm really happy with More

I bought a truck here which had to be brought back 2 times for service in less than 3 weeks. We kept leaving messages for the service department and NOBODY calls you back. We finally just drove the truck back and left it with them. When you ask what is wrong with the vehicle that YOU purchased (that is still under the warranty) or what has been done to fix it, nobody knows ANYTHING! They won't give you any documentation stating what work was preformed because as the owner states, he doesn't have to because " you didn't pay for it to be fixed!" Why would you not want your customer to have a record of what your service department supposedly fixed RICHARD??? What are YOU trying to hide? Not one person who works here has knowledge about anything, if you ask a question they throw their hands up and say " you have to talk to Richard"! He is never there. I only met him this one time because I was trying to find out what was wrong with my truck, what was done to fix it & it get some type documentation of the repair. I stopped by without him knowing and FINALLY caught him. You would have thought I was asking for a million dollars, there is a bigger reason why he won't give anything stating his service department work or lack of it. When I said I would never recommend this place to anybody, Richard's reply was " I would never sell you a car again"! As he jumped in his car and drove away!!! That is some good service coming from the owner, who is far from being a King!!!! More

The salesman said that if I boug I would I went to King Richard's to purchase a used vehicle. During the test drive, the brakes were grinding loudly. The salesman said that if I bought the vehicle, they would fix the breaks. Foolishly, I took him at his word. I was buying in cash, no financing. The process took 3 hours. They would not accept my debit card because they didn't want to pay the fee to accept a debit card transaction. I had to go to the bank and withdraw thousands in cash for them. When I called to make an appointment to have the brakes fixed, the owner was rude and dismissive. There were other problems with the vehicle and he acted as though I was annoying him and wasting his time. After they "fixed" the brakes, they were still grinding. I brought the vehicle to my own mechanic. He said the brake pads and rotors were shot. I had my own mechanic replace the parts and I kept the bad pads and rotors to show the dealer. When I spoke to Richard, the owner of this dealership, he said that the brakes were fine and I was a liar. He proceeded to yell at me and tell me that the mechanic who fixed the vehicle was a liar. He told me I was stupid and got ripped off by my mechanic. Apparently, everyone lies but him. He refused to honor the 50/50 warranty. He said he would only honor the warranty, if he was allowed to have it fixed at his dealership. I paid 555.29 to fix his mess and he refused to pay anything. He was yelling at me about the cost of pads and rotors. I asked him if he was even willing to pay 75 dollars and he said no. He then had Miquel call and ask me if I wanted to "unwind" the deal. He already had my trade in, which he started advertising almost instantly and I had the vehicle I purchased from him fixed. I was not about to "unwind" the deal when I put over 500 dollars into the vehicle. I am guessing that the only reason he wants to "unwind" the deal, is that he knows he is wrong and if I pursue this, he is in trouble. They put this car on the lot with bad brakes to begin with. Then, they were offered a chance to fix them and they didn't. Brakes are a safety issue and he didn't even care. I got very little for my trade in and I was ok with that because I know it had problems. But they started advertising it as some great deal as soon as they got it. They also are advertising it with a feature that I know it doesn't have. I know they are lying about my trade in because I bought it new and was the only owner. Sad that I found out about how they do business after I bought from them. I bought in good faith and in cash. The owner's behavior towards me has been downright abusive-yelling, calling me a liar etc..I can't even begin to imagine how he treats people he finances. I am guessing the only reason he stays in business is because he finances people with bad or no credit and takes advantage. The owner of this dealership is a downright bully! He yells at and berates his customers. He is rude and verbally abusive! Stay away from this dealer. There are other dealers that will treat you with respect. "king" Richard treats his customers like minions. I also notice that he responds to his many bad reviews and likes to act as though everything is a misunderstanding. Don't fall for it! If he really wants to make things right, he should honor his word and his warranties. More

Less than 2 months ago, I purchased a 2008 Cadillac xxx from King Richard's Auto. I've heard in the past that King Richard's wasn't a good dealership from numerous people on separate occasions. These peopl from King Richard's Auto. I've heard in the past that King Richard's wasn't a good dealership from numerous people on separate occasions. These people I am referring to don't know each other but are familiar with the dealership in one way or another. I WENT THERE FOR THE CAR, not for the dealership! I had been eyeing these Caddy's for a while. While I test drove the vehicle, everything appeared to be in working order. The car drove beautifully. However, I tried to step on the gas a little and the sales lady told me she would let me know where there was a good area for that. That time never came. She directed me through the whole test drive. Got back to the dealership and negotiated the price. 4 hours later into the whole process, price didn't budge. They responded that they mark their cars low on the internet(where I originally found the car) in order to bring customers in. They leave no room for negotiation. The car was actually a grand more in person. Long story short, I ended up buying the car. No gas, no change in fluids. From oil to windshield wiper fluid, nothing was done to the car. That night I noticed the buttons in the car don't light up. Wasn't the fuse, so I made an appointment. Before the appointment, noticed that the car would buck on the highway@2000 rpm. Engine light flashing during all this, but didn't stay on. Brought it to AUTOZONE, they ran it, 2 cylinders were misfiring. Needs a tune up. I mentioned this to them, they said they would take a look. They had the car for 3 days. They argued with me about what time to bring it in. I brought it in at 830am like they said, they didn't start to even look at it till the next day. I checked. Not to mention, every person in that dealership is rude, with bad attitudes. The owner of the dealership runs the service department and was the one who made the appointment. When I got the car back, the lights in the buttons did work. Got on the highway, car was still bucking, but this time the engine light stayed on. I specifically asked the owner of the dealership if they did the tune up. He and the mechanic said yes, that it was all done. Brought it to AUTOZONE again to check the light, same thing. THEY LIED. All they did was delete the code from the system that triggered the engine light and said they fixed it. Not the first lie they told. They told me to bring the car in again and that they would take a look. They also mentioned on that call that they don't cover the parts for the tune up, straight from the owner's mouth. I told them "then never mind, rather you not touch my car." Coil springs alone cost $780. King Richard did this all under the impression that I would buy an additional vehicle (Jeep Commander) for my mother. I told them I would buy the Jeep if everything with this one goes okay. Obviously, I didn't end up buying the Jeep from them. And I will never buy another car off of them again. More
