They came down $5000 on the price when I got it and the payments are right where I was hoping. A couple of months after that I got an emission notice. My SUV failed because the check engine light did not come on and I needed a purge system. Took it to my shop had a purge system put in and found out someone had taken the bulb out. Work was done thouhgt it was fixed but failed again. The check engine light would not go off now. My mechanic could not find anything wrong. Decided to take it to the dealer to have a diagnostic run on it. Problem found, purge valve needed to be replaced. The dealer quoted me a price $30 CHEAPER then my mechanic so I let them do it. Picked up my SUV all seemed fine. 5 miniutes off the lot and the check engine light came back on. Called Matt at the service department and told him. He said to bring it in and they would look at it. I did that today. I am very happy to say that my light is not on anymore, bad wire conection to the bulb, and they did not charge me even though it had nothing to do with the work they had done. I have taken my other cars to a dealer to have work done on them and found them to be exspensive and they take a long time to either get you in or get your car back to you. I was not looking forward to it this time but I am very happy that I did. Everyone there was very nice. I got to ask as many questions that I needed and they really listened to what I had to say. I would definitely recommend the Laurel KIA dealership to anyone who wanted to buy a car and/or needed service done. I delt with Ann and Matt but I would like to thank everyone there for a job well done. More
A drive pulley on my 2003 Sorento broke on Friday, 4/13/12, in the afternoon. I was near the dealership and drove in to see if they could help. Both Matt and Ed took the time to review the situation and advised me about the repair. I also received a loaner car to use over the weekend, since my car would not be ready until Monday. I have since picked up my car and would like to thank and commend both Matt and Ed for their immediate and friendly attention, as well as for providing a great solution to my vehicle's problem! More
I moved to MD six years ago and being unfamiliar at the time with good, reliable places to have my vehicle routinely serviced I took it to Jiffy Lube for an oil change and "discovered" I had a radiator lea time with good, reliable places to have my vehicle routinely serviced I took it to Jiffy Lube for an oil change and "discovered" I had a radiator leak. I had been going to the same Jiffy Lube in VA for years and had had similar maintenance work done there I was completely satisfied with so like an idiot I assumed I was going to be fine using Jiffy Lube in my new neighborhood in MD. Wrong. After having the work done, I later found out when going to Laurel KIA for the first time that the radiator work had been really done poorly. (I had needed a new muffler and after shopping around found my best deal at Laurel KIA) Without my asking about it, the KIA certified mechanic came out and showed me exactly where Jiffy Lube had botched the job - there were mount screws missing and loose, etc. He had fixed the screw problem but said the model of radiator was the wrong fit for my vehicle. I eventually ended up spending several days at several different Jiffy Lube locations as far away as Annapolis finally getting that problem resolved. At that point I started taking my KIA back to Laurel KIA whenever I needed any maintenance work done. Every time I have needed any work dont the Service Department has always been friendly, helpful, and accomodating. What I like most is that the same counter folks and certified mechanics I met six years ago are still there. Tells you something about their work as well as it mist be a good place to work if people stay. I had my 2002 KIA Sportage serviced until it was time to trade it in for a new one and the Laurel KIA Sales Department was very accomodating - giving me discounts for being a KIA owner and for bringing my 2002 KIA to Laurel KIA for service. Couldnt be happier with the work and customer service Laurel KIA has provided over the past six years. I have recommended them to friends which is something I only do if I'm really impressed with the quality of work and service of anyone who I'm paying to have work done. More
I have been going to this dealership for years I have always been a satified customer. Pete from the parts department was over the top helpful. the sales department was good. service department was the worst i've ever experienced. it took almost 3 weeks to get my car back & problem was still not fixed and more stuff was wrong with it when i got worst i've ever experienced. it took almost 3 weeks to get my car back & problem was still not fixed and more stuff was wrong with it when i got it back. it has been a terrible experience, by far the worst. very disappointed with the service at kia. would never recommand kia service to anyone. THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE THE SERVICE! More
