Very easy car buying experience- like the no pressure no hassle dealerships- makes the car buying experience less stressful- did have to bring the car in for new brakes about a week after driving it. Not su hassle dealerships- makes the car buying experience less stressful- did have to bring the car in for new brakes about a week after driving it. Not sure why the service inspection would have missed that. They were supposed to get back to me on another issue but that never happened. Overall good experience with just a few negatives. More
My beloved Ford Taurus was totaled by a big buck deer hit on September 14th, at about 7:45 pm. It was then nearing dark. I have always driven Fords--my first car was a used 1966 Ford Fairlane and that was on September 14th, at about 7:45 pm. It was then nearing dark. I have always driven Fords--my first car was a used 1966 Ford Fairlane and that was a good car, so I always stuck with Fords. I wanted a Ford Taurus and there was one in St. Cloud, and I had put out the notice I was looking for one, including a call to Kimber Creek Ford in Pine River. Don Griggs heard about my call and called me and said they had a Ford Edge that was a possibility. Since Don Griggs had sold me my last three Fords, and they were all GREAT cars, I thought it was best I take a look at the Ford Edge at Kimber Creek. The car looked great, and it was easy to get in and out of like my Taurus was. Don took me in a ride, and later I drove it in a test drive. I really liked it and am so glad I bought it.. I didn't know until Don called me that he was up at Kimber Creek Ford. He sold me a new 2002 Ford Crown Vic until that car in 2011 got totaled when I hit a herd of deer late on a foggy night on 371, killing three deer! That car had on 254,000 miles and never a problem. Don then sold me a 2008 Taurus and that car ended at 354,000 miles with NOT one single mechanical problem or breakdown--just good service care. Don then sold me a 2013 Ford Taurus with just 20,000 some miles on it--it was just like new and was owned by a 93-year-old widow whose children wanted her to stop driving. That Ford Taurus was indeed the best car I ever had. i was really down when it was totaled. I anticipate my Ford Edge will be my last driving car unless, God forbid, another big buck deer gets in the way. If that happens, I will call Don Griggs! Don is honest and a straight shooter. I also think he genuinely cares about his clients. He is also most knowledgeable about Ford cars and the cars he is selling. You can ask him any question and he knows the answer. Kimber Creek or any Ford dealership is truly fortunate to have him as their sales representative! My logic in buying my Ford Edge is that if a person like Don sells me three great cars in a row, you can't go wrong on any recommendation from him! I am grateful to Don Griggs and Kimber Creek Ford for their good sales service of their Ford cars! Thank you again...............................Steve Wenzel-- More
