I contacted the Killeen Volkswagen through Cars. com app. Someone from dealership contacted me about an hour later. They said I should come in to the dealership and see the car and work out a deal. I informed the person that I live 125 miles from the dealership and it won't be feasible and we can communicate electronically thru texting or email. She told me she will my request to sales team. No one called for 2 hours and I sent a text asking for update she said Someone will contact me shortly. I did not hear from them that day so I messaged following day and same reply, Someone will contact me. Long story short I ended up buying the vehicle at another dealership 20 minutes from me. I never got any text from the dealership regarding the vehicle. That is the only time I never heard back from a dealership. I had contacted 3 dealerships and 2 responded and Killeen Volkswagen never responded. I figured they must be overwhelmed by customers that they don't have time to deal with additional customers. Went to get an oil change, they broke my windshield, blamed it on me, service manager was rude and Juan blocked me. I've bought 3 cars from them. I will never buy another car or go to that dealership t blamed it on me, service manager was rude and Juan blocked me. I've bought 3 cars from them. Our car buying experience at Automax has always been amazing, but Automax VW was outstanding! Tristen was able to help us narrow down exactly what we wanted in our budget, answered all our questions in amazing, but Automax VW was outstanding! Tristen was able to help us narrow down exactly what we wanted in our budget, answered all our questions in detail, and he did it with a VERY appreciated laid-back approach! Jesse took very good care of us on signing day, walked us through all the car’s features, even gave us some tips & tricks, and had us in and out very quickly! We will be back, and I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a low stress car buying process, it does not get much better than this! More
I am only leaving a 1 star because I have to. The only reason I am leaving 1 star is because I have to. I would NEVER do business with this dealership. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE MILITARY!!!! The only thing this dealership does is put people in more of a financial bind. We traded in a vehicle and it’s been almost 60 days, the dealership has yet to pay off the trade-in. We’ve been to the dealership several times to see why the trade-in hasn’t been paid off. After speaking with our lawyer we were advised to request our vehicle back. When we requested our trade-in back from the dealership since we still own it, the dealership told us that they wholesaled the vehicle and no longer have it. Essentially wholesaling a vehicle that ABSOLUTELY does not belong to them since they have yet to pay it off. They also said they can not give out the information as to where the vehicle is. We called Volkswagen to pay the first payment, they have no record of us purchasing the vehicle. Now Automax wants us to make payments to them and they will process the payment for the new car loan. We are still having to make payments on the trade-in because they haven’t paid it off. No one can give us answers or make anything happen. I know several other service members that are in this same situation with this SAME DEALERSHIP. This has been the absolute worst car buying process I’ve ever been through. Automax should be on Fort Hood’s blacklist for sure! More
