Total bait and switchers. I called them 3 times, talked to Dominic and Jessica and they told me they had the car I wanted on the lot before I drove the 120 minute trip from Austin. They proceeded to try and sell me the car even though they had no idea where it was. The salesperson showed me the numbers and was like "since you made the trip up here and the car isn't even here, my manager is taking off the usual $5K markup", but when I looked at the price it was not only marked up $5K on MSRP, but they also threw in "mandatory" dealer add-ons like GPS tracking, wheel and tire protection, etc. So all-in $10K over sticker! Even negotiating up to the sales manager and the GM we pretty much got nowhere (lowest was $57,200 from $58,000...). More

WORST POSSIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! TOOK IN MY 2019 ELANTRA FOR HEADLIGHT RECALL 2 WEEKS AGO AND STILL NOT FIXED-WORSE THEY WONT RETURN CALLS OR GIVE UPDATES-JUSTIN IS TERRIBLE!!! I TOOK IN MY 2018 TUSCON A FEW MONTHS EARLIER ON AN ENGINE/BRAKE COMBUSTION TO BE TOLD NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH IT DESPITE A RECALL MONTHS EARLIER- THEN DROPPED THE CAR OFF AND WAS CALLED AFTER DRIVING HOME 45 MINUTES AWAY THAT THEY GAVE OUR PART AWAY TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER AND HAD TO LEAVE THE CAR THERE FOR SEVERAL DAYS! THANKS AGAIN JUSTIN! I WILL NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THEM-OVERPRICED... I JUST BOUGHT A 2022 TUSCON FOR CHEAPER THAN AUTOMAX AND ALSO BOUGHT AN ELANTRA FROM SOUTH POINTE FOR 3,000 CHEAPER----STAY AWAY FROM AUTOMAX!! More

I went to a couple of different places before Automax looking for a used car. Saw a couple of things I liked, but they just weren't *quite* right. Then Gabriel helped me and asked just the right questions to bring me A TON of options and I finally landed on one I just couldn't walk away from- the 2020 Palisade! This dealership is shaded will sell you a new car with a broken head gasket and then refuse to fix it or cover it under warranty. So I have purchased three new Hyundais from Automax in the last month: a 2021 Santa Fe and two 2021 Elantras. This makes five car deals in the last three years with Automax. Automax has provided the best the last month: a 2021 Santa Fe and two 2021 Elantras. This makes five car deals in the last three years with Automax. Automax has provided the best all around dealership experience I have ever had. These last three deals I worked with Gabriel in sales and Mike, the sales manager. All three deals were good deals from my perspective. They know I do my homework and they have been willing to go the extra mile to earn my business. When there were minor issues they were attentive and responsive to finding solutions. Gabriel is kind-hearted and easy going, the opposite of a high pressure salesperson you might have experienced elsewhere. He is honest and transparent and doesn’t pretend to know things that he doesn’t know but is eager to offer to find out and look into things you ask about. I admire that. So I would wholeheartedly recommend Automax Hyundai. While no dealership is perfect, this one is the closest I have found. And if you haven’t taken a look at Hyundai, do so. In my opinion , they are designing and building some fantastic vehicles and offer the best value in the industry! More
Didn’t expect to find my car today! Took our Sonata in for repairs and ended up getting a super deal on a new Santa Fe Limited. Met Julio our among the cars! He was friendly and enthusiastic. He, the sales manager, and the finance manager all did a great job in getting us out the door fairly quickly. Smooth buying experience and no high pressure sales. This was our first time at the dealership. We were looking for a Hyundai dealership closer who could get our car repaired before Christmas. Killeen is 90 miles away but offered to get our car looked at today, so we jumped in the car and headed their. Amazing service facility and the sales department was comfortable and stylish as was the financial area, which was in a separate building from sales. All in all a good experience. More
