This place has wasted so much of my pregnant wife's time and cause so much stress for her i worry for anyone else they feel they can take advantage of. I am active duty Army and am currently away on orders and cause so much stress for her i worry for anyone else they feel they can take advantage of. I am active duty Army and am currently away on orders and they took the opportunity to attempt to scam (or possibly are so incompetent and half xxx their work to a degree that they can get paid more to fix their mistakes) my pregnant wife. We have a 2023 Hyundai Elantra and took it for the last warranty oil change and tire rotation. We also had a engine cleaning and alignment completed as well. After the service my wife left and noticed the Tire pressure system was not reading. She went back in and they told her to drive back home and come back in if there was still nothing. She went back in the following day to have the system looked at because it was still not working. They stated they found that 3 of the sensors were dead on a year and a half old vehicle (something in all my years of driving ive never had 1 die let alone 3) They then quoted her for $600+ to change the TPMS because and I quote "there were rocks in the tires so it voided the warranty" at this point I called and they said the warranty was voided because they think that my pregnant wife is off-roading my hyundai Elantra... Now my wife can be a daredevil at times with seeing how long she can nap for, but I can guarantee she is not attempting to rock crawl a 2 wheel drive sedan. The vehicle has never even thought of a dirt or gravel road. They then advertised the new warranty on their dope TPMS sensors is 12 months or 12,000 miles in which I responded unless there is pebbles in the tires? She then asked if I would like to speak to the manager and I said I did. She stated he was in a meeting and that she would take my number down and he would call me after the meeting. This was at 1100 AM. I never recieved a call so many of these issues might be solved if they dont force their manager to be in nearly 24 hour meetings. Like how can one manage let alone sleep and eat when stuck in a never ending meeting. Really worried for the health and welfare of this manager. The next day my wife started her vehicle and there was a noticeable shake and the check engine light came on. I instructed her to take it to the service center to have it fixed. She arrived and they started off by saying it will take 7-10 business days for them to even look at it. This is where I chimed in stating that was not acceptable (not so proper and elegantly I'd admit) and stated that I would like to finally have my ellusive talk with the manager and lucky me it was the man that said it would be 7-10 business days. (Must have been right after he got out of his meeting of course). He stated that it was probably a engine misfire caused by the cleaning. And that with a simple reset of the code all would be good. So I then inquired on why I had not been contacted and he stated he was never notified to call me. But then knew every detail of the situation with our TPMS sensors and stated that his representative was wrong and that they would be replacing 2 of them on warranty (the 3rd was a new tire after a flat and we had warrantied under discount tire). He then handed my wife off to the same representative that was misinformed on rocks being it tires and she stated that they already ordered the sensors the previous day (never received a call about that either) and that they would be in on Tuesday. Other smaller issues: We have a full size spare tire that was not rotated in when the tires were rotated (just cutting corners) The tires were not filled to the appropriate amount something when you rotate tires should be checked and conducted (just cutting corners) No shot they ever looked at our spare tire to ensure it was aired correctly other wise the previous two issues would not exist. On Thursday they said if they ordered the sensors they would be in Saturday to be fixed and if they did order them on Thursday (like they said on Friday). More
1. The price listed on the internet had the list price and an additional $2000 extra cash discount that ended April 1. Even though it was advertised on the website with the discount. 2. When the price sheet was printed for me it didn’t include the $2000 discount, but it did have an additional $4000 worth of mandatory dealer add ons included in the price. I was told that without the certified pre owned designation costing $995 that the factory warranty would not transfer which isn’t true. 3. A few of the other things that were listed as mandatory add ons would have been things done to the car when it was initially delivered, 3000 miles and a year earlier. 4. The finance manager wasn’t surprised that the car was listed incorrectly on the website and called it a “glitch” in the website that happens quite often. He said it was because it was in the New Car section of the website, and was never titled, but couldn’t be sold as a new car. 5. I asked the finance manager why weren’t they up front with all the extra add ons and he said I should’ve gotten a price sheet before I made the drive. Overall I am very dissatisfied with my experience. The deceiving acts that the staff at Killeen Hyundai performed trying to cheat their way into a sale were despicable. Not only the false advertising but the straight up lies told to me really show the true colors of the persons involved. I will not be returning to Killeen Hyundai or any associated dealership or recommending them to friends. I will do my best to find a way to contact Hyundai Directly to voice my displeasure. More
This is no reflection on Service Advisor Maegan Sprawls. She provided unusually good customer service on February 19, 2024 when, after I specifically requested no car wash after an oil change, the technician put my Santa Cruz through the carwash with the sunroof and rear window open. Meagan offered me a free detailing of my vehicle. However, in addition to water getting into my vehicle yesterday, I came outside the next morning to find my vehicle leaking oil everywhere. Something is not tightened up. As I told Maegan, at this point I want the oil change redone and the engine bay cleaned, in addition to the offered free detail. On a previous occasion, Killeen Hyundai scratched the tint on the driver side window. I want that fixed too, especially after the ludicrous price ($800) that the dealership charged me for window tint (only accepted because this vehicle was hard to get at the time). I have saved email correspondence with killeenauto.com staff including photos regarding all these issues. I'm not happy with the quality of Killeen Hyundai’s technicians. They're sloppy and inattentive. Killeen Hyundai should pick the vehicle up Friday morning and take care of it, but everyone who answers the phone is a no-nothing do-nothing who seems to think their job is to protect managers Nick and Joe, who have had the opportunity to call me back and make arrangements for several hours.
