While it appears there are many great salespeople at Automax in Killeen, I can only attest to one - Keith Sanders. I purchased a used Ram 1500 from Keith and he was a pleasure to deal with, no pressure Automax in Killeen, I can only attest to one - Keith Sanders. No haggling was required as the price was fair and Keith agreed to take care of the little things like detailing the interior and repairing minor scratches and dings. The truck looked brand new when I picked it up. Both Keith and Nikki were honest and friendly, offering me a great deal on my trade and an excellent buying experience. My son who is 18yrs went to purchase his first vehicle on Saturday we got his approval found his car paid the deposit got our receipt signed some paperwork, got his insurance done and was told to come back o Saturday we got his approval found his car paid the deposit got our receipt signed some paperwork, got his insurance done and was told to come back on Monday to pick the vehicle up as they need to have it detailed... On Monday I had to work so my son went to pick the vehicle up on his own, he was sent to another finance manager their names listed in the title who now tells my son he need to pay an additional $4000 deposit for the vehicle bc their are "fees" my son sat there for over 2 hrs waiting he then calls me and let me know what is going on... I speak to this finance manager who is trying to tell me that after getting his approval with the bank signing and paying that the sales rep on Saturday did it wrong so I informed him I dealt with the sales mngr who had already told me what bank he was financed through so that is not true, not only did he lie he also went behind my sons back and ran his credit again on Monday through his credit union and other places... I then told him to refund every penny and we went to another dealership in Gatesville who not only got my son a better deal with a lower down payment, did not try to take advantage of him bc he is young... I will definitely be speaking to the general manager... On the up side the sales rep Tutt and manager Trey on Saturday did a fabulous job in getting his approval which made the process so much easier when we went to Gatesville bc he still had the approval and they were able to use that. More

Was told by dealership that I would be able to get 12k for my trade in and the manager bragged that even tho it was the lowest offer I got from all the dealerships he said “ they all offer you high prices for my trade in and the manager bragged that even tho it was the lowest offer I got from all the dealerships he said “ they all offer you high prices but none of them will write you and check, the difference is I will” and so I told him to write me a check then and he came up with a bunch of excuses of why he couldn’t. End of story auto max can’t hold there word they just say stuff to make u think there the best but they are no different! More

I still recommend this dealership because I trust the salesman I use. I refer all my soldiers and friends to him. He's the best, bar none! If we got to test drive and liked it, we were ready to purchase, cash in hand. However, that vehicle was on hold for someone that wasn't there and still didn't show up after he drove us all around the lot. We didn't agree with that process. We ended up going to Dodge Country and purchasing the same truck, different color from them. No hassles or hold up. I'm not sure if I would purchase or refer Automax because of that reason. That was a big turn off/disappointment. More
