Kia of Wesley Chapel - Service Center

My 2014 Kia soul has a recall which was approved the kia consumer however KIA of WC has been giving me the runaround for over a week. I contacted kia consumer over 5 times and have gotten the same response consumer however KIA of WC has been giving me the runaround for over a week. I contacted kia consumer over 5 times and have gotten the same response that they engine is approved for replacement. I keep up maintenance on my car, oil changes ect... They are trying to tell me it has something to do with an ecu update that wasn't performed. I was only notified of the engine fire safety issue. That should have nothing to do with the fact my engine has a recall for possible engine fire which is scary enough. The description on the recall notice is exactly what happened to my car. Car started making knocking noise. Oil light came on, Engine light came on, I was not about to drive it with it making that noise sounded like the engine was going to explode. Also smelled really hot like it might catch fire good thing I pulled over. I had it towed to Kia dealership and it has been there for almost two weeks. Also I was told by Kia consumer they would put me in a rental which never happened either. I have to find a way to work and almost lost my job. I would have no problem waiting if they could give me a rental which would alleviate some of the stress. Called again today to check now they apparently are escalating the claim to regional management. Was told Tues I would hear back in a few days.. nothing. I called today was told manager was busy on phone call and would call back. I'm still waiting. It's just really frustrating and I would appreciate a call and show of good faith with the rental at least. Thank you. More

I had attempted to have Manager Shawn Visconti call me back several times (4-5 times) when Nick stepped in to help. Nick patiently listened to my ongoing Service issues that I was seeking approval for sin back several times (4-5 times) when Nick stepped in to help. Nick patiently listened to my ongoing Service issues that I was seeking approval for since June, through another team member. I received thorough in next steps from himself and team member, Devin Gillespie. They have taken immediate action and I am receiving timely updates from their team. Their level of attention and customer service has really made an impact on where I will continue to have my Kia serviced and purchase my next car from. Thank you Team! More

I made an appointment Monday 8/17/2020 for my car to be serviced again. I was just in to have it serviced on 7-30-2020. The right tire had a censer that had to be serviced and now over the weekend the serviced again. I was just in to have it serviced on 7-30-2020. The right tire had a censer that had to be serviced and now over the weekend the left side censer went out. Devin Gillespie was very kind and helped me. I am going to give him a five star. They took the car right in and fixed the problem in 1 hour. He kept me informed on everything. Did not need a car wash since I had just wash it on Sunday. Will be back for another oil and lube next year. I hope that you keep up the excellent service that the other dealer gave me. E. Mastin More

Finally fixed an issue Jonathan is a miracle worker! My son's car has been to 4 different dealers for service, the steering column was replaced twice, still not sure why. I went to Kia on 3/13/2020 to get an oil change and brakes checked. I was told a full inspection was done and all I needed was brake pads replaced of course they charge a ridiculously high price to rep brakes checked. So I went ahead to have my oil changed with no issues. Literally the next morning I drove my car my AC was completely out and blowing hot air. I have never had any issues with my AC until I let this dealership touch my car. I called them and was told to schedule another appt to take a look and was told somehow my compressor was faulty and it would be over $800 to fix. I feel that the mechanic intentionally did something to my AC in attempt to get more money out of me. If my air compressor was so bad then why wasn’t it noticed less than 24 hrs ago when during this so called inspection? The person that assisted me named Francisco and his manager did absolutely nothing to help. I will be getting a 2nd opinion on what was done to my car and it turns out my car was tampered with at all I will be seeking legal actions. Never again will I go to Kia dealership and I will be sure to tell every one I know to NOT go there, they will scam you especially being a woman who they will assume you are naive. More
