I keep coming here for service even though I live in Yonkers and pass a couple of other Kia dealerships closer to me because I bought the car from here and most importantly, the service department is wa Yonkers and pass a couple of other Kia dealerships closer to me because I bought the car from here and most importantly, the service department is way better than any other Kia dealer I've visited. It is always never-crowded and Brian Nalepa makes you feel like a valued customer. He is knowledgable and very professional. He takes time to listen to your concerns, works with you to find all available discounts, and keeps you updated. I never feel rushed or forgotten and the work has always been done satisfactorily. Brian is one of the main reasons I keep coming back even though I live in another state. More

Ultimate Service I had my car serviced at Kia of Stamford. I inquired about the new update to the UVO system. Ernesto the manager, asked Steven to do the update for I had my car serviced at Kia of Stamford. I inquired about the new update to the UVO system. Ernesto the manager, asked Steven to do the update for me. After it was complete, I decided I dId not like that the navigation system was not operable with the new update. I wanted the update removed. Steven did not know how to accomplish that. I left the car at the dealership overnight so that Steven could work on it. He managed to get everything working to my specifications and satisfaction when I returned the next day. Steven went above and beyond what was expected of him to make sure I was happy with the results. CRB, 10/18/16 More
A great car, poor service experiences I had to get rid of a car that I love—2013 Kia Optima--because of bad experiences with Kia of Stamford. The sale was simple. I knew the color, model, I had to get rid of a car that I love—2013 Kia Optima--because of bad experiences with Kia of Stamford. The sale was simple. I knew the color, model, and features I wanted, so I walked in a pre-sold. Yonkers Kia had failed to locate the model after three visits and broken promises. A single phone call to Stamford solved that issue. I was delighted with the car, a terrific vehicle that matches or surpasses far more expensive makes. The poor service began immediately. First a few little things: The car did not have a manual, requiring a drive back to the dealer. The USB cord box was empty. A cord was mailed after more calls. Worse, I was hustled into buying wheel insurance, a ripoff. The service was friendly but ineffective. I put in a warranty claim that the seat coolers were malfunctioning – the cooling had severely diminished over time. A computer test found they were performing fine, so that was that. My claim for a wheel damaged by a pothole was pooh-poohed by a service guy--“curb rash” wasn’t covered. Still, he promised to file a claim on my behalf. Never heard back. In early December the car wouldn’t start, so I called Kia Roadside Service. After a long delay, a guy showed up in a car – not a tow truck – and tested the battery. “Kia’s known for its lousy batteries,” he said. The battery needed a replacement, he determined. A tow truck was then called, another long delay, and my car was towed 35 miles to Kia of Stamford. The battery was merely dead, Stamford Kia said, needing a recharge. So tow was the unnecessary? How to get my car back? Kia Roadside Service has nothing to do with us Kia of Stamford, the service dept told me. They are independent 3rd-party contractors. I’d have to pick the car up. A call to Kia corporate in California increased the frustration. They had no control over dealerships or Kia Roadside Service--pass-the-buck-a-rama. To be fair, after a few days of back and forth, Stamford Kia did drive my car back and parked it in the garage. It was a muddy mess, the clock wasn’t reset, and ….. I called Stamford Kia a few more times (service manager, dealership owner) and told them I couldn’t afford the car anymore. I had lost too much time at work dealing with the service issues. I asked them to buy it back from me. They promised to call me back with a price. Never did, even after I left a few more messages, emails. I’ve cut my losses and traded the Optima in on a new car. Kia makes great vehicles. But the service is not to be trusted, at least not in Westchester/Stamford. More

They were extremely cordial, identified the rattling noise I was hearing and corrected the problem in a short time. I called on a Monday and was given an appointment that Saturday in the morning, with a telephone call confirming my appointment. I highly recommend Kia Stamford and my only regret is not purchasing my car from them. More

My mo because my experience was incredible. I have been getting my oil changed at Stamford Kia for 1.5 years now and have NEVER had a bad experience. My most recent experience was incredible. It was Christmas Eve, and I surely didn't want to sit in a dealership while I wait for my car to be serviced at 8am, but as I sat there, Rob indulged in conversation and made me feel comfortable sitting there. He offered me coffee, water, to change the channel…I felt like I was at a family member's house. There are other service centers that I could visit to get my oil changed, and they are probably less expensive…But having the quality of my visit to Stamford Kia be so delightful, why would I go anywhere else? Awesome experience with the service department Rob Castro went above and beyond. I had been told that the car needed various things done, I decided to bring it into Kia of Stamford which I should have done went above and beyond. I had been told that the car needed various things done, I decided to bring it into Kia of Stamford which I should have done from the beginning, spoke to Rob who is very friendly, exceptional customer service oriented which you don't find much these days. I gave him a list of concerns which were checked and did not need to be addressed, they found the REAL problem, I was concerned with the cost once the estimate was given to me, I had originally said yes to everything but when it came time to do the work I found myself not being able to afford it all, he said he would work with me and we got all the work done like I said he went ABOVE and BEYOND. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend everyone to come to this dealer. THANK YOU ROB!!! More
John at the service desk is always so friendly. They are prompt, and the service seems to be very good quality. The cable TV and kids' table helps keep my kids entertained while I wait. Everyone is very polite and helpful. I called to have my car serviced and Rob was very accommodating to the time I can bring my car in.
