It was Christmas Eve, and I surely didn't want to sit in a dealership while I wait for my car to be serviced at 8am, but as I sat there, Rob indulged in conversation and made me feel comfortable sitting there. He offered me coffee, water, to change the channel…I felt like I was at a family member's house. There are other service centers that I could visit to get my oil changed, and they are probably less expensive…But having the quality of my visit to Stamford Kia be so delightful, why would I go anywhere else? More
Awesome experience with the service department Rob Castro went above and beyond. I had been told that the car needed various things done, I decided to bring it into Kia of Stamford which I should have done went above and beyond. I had been told that the car needed various things done, I decided to bring it into Kia of Stamford which I should have done from the beginning, spoke to Rob who is very friendly, exceptional customer service oriented which you don't find much these days. I gave him a list of concerns which were checked and did not need to be addressed, they found the REAL problem, I was concerned with the cost once the estimate was given to me, I had originally said yes to everything but when it came time to do the work I found myself not being able to afford it all, he said he would work with me and we got all the work done like I said he went ABOVE and BEYOND. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend everyone to come to this dealer. THANK YOU ROB!!! More
John at the service desk is always so friendly. They are prompt, and the service seems to be very good quality. The cable TV and kids' table helps keep my kids entertained while I wait. Everyone is very polite and helpful. I called to have my car serviced and Rob was very accommodating to the time I can bring my car in. Each member of my family is a Kia owner & has had experience with different Kia dealers in the tri-state area. Sadly, at each of these dealerships, they have been disappointed in the customer service experience with different Kia dealers in the tri-state area. Sadly, at each of these dealerships, they have been disappointed in the customer service, quality of work & charges. THEN we had the fortunate opportunity to meet John & his service team in Stamford, where our experiences have been truly exceptional. The most important compliment I can extend is the high level of trust my family & I have in the Stamford workmen & their workmanship. My father had his Optima serviced in Kia of Smithtown, New York. They charged my father for work they "thought" would correct the presented problem, but the symptom persisted ... the problem was NOT repaired! We brought the car in to Stamford to see if we might have better luck there. It's true the presented problem was not easy to diagnose, but the Stamford team was determined to find the source & fix it. It seemed everyone was personally vested in a mission to figure out the answer to the mystery. I was More than impressed with their concern. The Stamford team indeed repaired the problem, the charges were covered by warrantee & we've been back to Stamford for service ever since...even from Long Island. I trust the Stamford team's knowledge & I believe they are honest. If integrity & car smarts are what you seek, search no further. If you have a Kia needing service, even if it means going out of your way to Stamford, it will be worth the gas to get there. If you don't have a Kia, consider stopping by their showroom, where Ernesto in the Sales office is equally helpful & professional. Based on the negative customer service at other Kia dealers, my family might have lost enthusiasm for the Kia name brand, but the great people in Stamford Kia will keep our family loyal Kia owners. My Name is Christina Ladd and we bought a 2006 Nissan Quest. it had a couple of issues with the tire sensors but the dealership has been very good about fixing it every time the light comes on. They fixe Quest. it had a couple of issues with the tire sensors but the dealership has been very good about fixing it every time the light comes on. They fixed the 2 right side sensors and it a been only a month and while i was on vacation the light came on again. they told me to make an appointment with a Nissan dealer and that the would fix it. they have been very good about it and i will definitely be buying my daughter a car from there in a few months as she turns 16 in Feb. Thank You to George who has taking care of all the issues that have come up with the car. . More
