Every time I walk in to this Kia dealership, I am reminded that not only do I love my sporty Sorento but I enjoy the service and sales team at this dealership. They truly care about my safety, comfo reminded that not only do I love my sporty Sorento but I enjoy the service and sales team at this dealership. They truly care about my safety, comfort and my input. However, this last visit has put the Kia Stamford team in to the Hall of Fame. My home suffered major damages during Hurricane Sandy and is unliveable. We believe this rebuilding process will take upwards of a year. When I described the last month of my life to these very concerned team members, not only did they listen but they truly cared. They wiped my service bill clean - you heard that - NO payment expected from me - and? They handed me a paid slip to take my car down the road for a car wash on them!!!! I walked out stunned and reminded of how supportive they have always been and continue to be in taking care of me and my Kia Sorento and ultimately, the safety of my family when in that car. Thank you soo much Kia Stamford - you guys ROCK!!! More

The manager came outside with me checked my tread ware and my need for new tires. He also explained how I might need brakes as well. When the mechanic took off my front tires he showed me the worn down pa and my need for new tires. He also explained how I might need brakes as well. The manager (John) explained to me what my options were and how if I did not replace them now I could do more damage and drive unsafely. John gave me a choice of three tire brands and allowed me to pick the ones that I wanted ! John was a real people person and made it easy for me to trust and go back to him as well as recommend him to others. The other guys were Rick, and Jose More

When it came time to offereing a price - they offered a best price right up front. (We shopped this prior, without their knowledge). They wanted us to have this car and made it as attractive from a sales approach and price as we could have hoped for. Even at the end of the process when we met with the financial person (Anthony) he also could not have been nicer. NO PRESSURE. We highly recommend anyone looking for a car, to visit KIA of Stamford. I found a used 2006 Volvo XC70 for sale through Kia of Stamford on the Internet. Immediately Ernesto DePiano contacted me. He was very professional, friendly, and informative. Although he is not familiar with Volvos, he researched the car and forwarded me the CarFax. He promptly answered my questions as I did not want to travel 200 miles from MA unless I was seriously considering buying this car. After we negotiated a purchase price, which I was very happy with, we ran into some red tape trying to register the car in MA. Ernesto dealt with my insurance company and took the extra steps to make this lengthy registration process go as smoothly as possible. When we drove back down to CT two weeks later to pick up the car, he had it cleaned again for me, and he helped me set up the Bluetooth. He called me the next day to make sure I got home safely and was happy with my new car. I would definitely recommend buying a car from Ernesto at Kia. More
The manager, salesman, and financial guy at this dealership all were friendly. The car I wanted was on the floor and I wanted to purchase it there. First, they tried to get me to sign the sales papers without any numbers on them. Then, they tried to slide a $1,500 charge past me that was not valid ... and when I found it (after leaving the dealership), they subtracted it and told me that their financial guy was "new." When I came in to pick up the car, I asked the financial guy how long he'd been working there. "Eight years and counting." Ah, yes .. I also was paying cash (which made me eligble for $1,000 off. They casually tried to talk me into charging it all on a card because I would get $500 off immediately when I paid. I refused and found out later that I would have lost the $1,000 back for cash had I taken that deal. Sleezy, sleezy, sleezy. You can bet that I won't use their dealership to service my car. I can only imagine the repairs they would suggest in the future. I love my new car, but this transaction left me with a very bad feeling about Kia. I know car dealerships are supposed to get a better price than you want them to, but this was just below-board. I had a Toyota for many years and I was never "thrilled" with the dealership, but at least I thought they were fairly honest. More
