Mrs. Vinetti, We explained at great length the difference in what we quoted you for the proper professional repair of your 2014 Kia Soul versus what a non-Kia repair shop quoted you. We use original Kia parts. Some repair shops use aftermarket parts. We have found that aftermarket parts are not reliable. After you disputed the difference, we recommended that you get more information from the other repair shop to make sure they would be repairing it properly so your vehicle would operate as it should. We physically went over the vehicle operations in our repair facility to get an accurate diagnosis. We also called other local repair shops using original Kia parts, and found that we were competitively priced for this type of repair. The other repair shop has not even seen the vehicle to diagnose it properly. We waived the diagnostic fee which cost you zero money from our repair facility. We advised you that your vehicle was out of the warranty period as you were aware with over 109,000 miles. We make every reasonable effort to provide as much information to our service customers so they can make the best decision regarding their vehicle maintenance and repair. I am at a loss for what we did incorrect. Respectfully, Brandon Carlson, GM

We have already spoken and you have stated that your tech’s reported that they didn’t make any unauthorized changes. I am confident that this information is incorrect. I’m in the process of collecting all of my information about my car’s history. I’m about to have my car reinspected to ensure the work was done fully and correct and that everything else I’d also fine with my car.
