I have dealt with the service department twice since I bought my Kia. The first time for a dash light the second for an oil change. They are always helpful and polite. After I was there the last time I had an additional question, which I emailed to them and the service manager called my phone within an hour to give me more information. We went into this dealer for the first time, late on a Friday night. My wife was looking for a new car and had never been in a Kia before. Our needs mandate an all wheel drive vehicle so after looking at the different models we decided a Sportage would be right for us. The quality of the vehicle was impressive. Bob took us out for a test drive, and remember this was late already, we got a few miles from the dealership when the roads were blocked from an accident. Our test drive took us on an out of the way route and way longer than we had planned. When we finished and told Bob we would think about it over the week and may be back next weekend, we got no pressure and no attitude about wasting his time this late at night. We did go back the next weekend and purchased the vehicle after another extended test drive and much time spent by Bob going over everything with the vehicle. We ended up with some extras (3 years of oil changes and car washes) that we thought made the experience better. During our week of thinking it over and checking the vehicle out online, we were able to find the vehicle for a little less but decided to buy it from Kia of puyallup due to the hel from Bob Paul. This is a brief review, because my experience with this dealer was limited. However after having a very bad experience with another dealer, I called this dealership for some information about the status of dealer was limited. The salesman that answered the phone said, honestly - "I really don't know, but I will check and call you back within an hour." About 45 minutes later my phone rang - the man told me that there were two coming in - he gave me the colors. He told me that they could not be sold until June 6th, because they were going to study them and train their people on the features and service needs for these new cars. He said that if I wished, he would call and let me know when the cars arrived, and that he would be certain that he would hold at least one for a day and let me come in and test drive it. That is exactly what I had hoped for. I simply wanted to know if the car would meet my needs, and if it would, I had planned to purchase it on the spot. I was very pleased to get an honest and thorough answer from a guy over the phone about the status of a new product, especially after having been lied to by another dealer in another state. I know this is not a comprehensive review, but I just would like someone to know that this dealership had a salesman that did research for me in detail, and fulfilled his promise to return a call. I had not experienced that kind of follow through in dealing with some other Kia dealerships. More
I was given what I was told a final offer on a Soul LE2 and ended up buying it from another dealer which gave me a better deal. I received a phone call from the sales rep. and informed him i had already pu and ended up buying it from another dealer which gave me a better deal. I received a phone call from the sales rep. and informed him i had already purchased my vehicle and he got very rude and kept asking me what i purchased my vehicle for and i refused to share that information. He was very rude and unprofessional after I informed him of my purchase and insisted he needed the price I purchased my vehicle for to update his computer. I WILL NOT BE BACK THERE AGAIN AND WILL LET EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO COME TO THIS DEALERSHIP! More
