My fiance and I decided we needed a new car. I had heard great things about KIA of OP. We left the lot in a brand new Forte. 2 weeks later the financing company called to verify my employment. In the meantime, my hours decreased (which I had no idea that was going to happen) We were told we then had insufficient income, and that if we didn't have another person to co-sign that we needed to return the car. So, we returned the car. My trade in vehicle had been left in the back parking lot with the windows down for 2 weeks, and a tropical storm had came through. I now have mildew in my vehicle, that was not there before. The floors were soaked, and the seats. The seatbelts that my children use have mildew all over them. I called to complain, bc I had not been informed of the situation before we left. The guy's response was "I was under the impression that it was dry, sorry I didn't tell you" He did tell me we could bring it back for a detail. I still am waiting for my title to my car, even though its been 2 weeks since I picked up the car. Also, when calling about my title, I asked to speak to a manager because the sales guy informed me that he does not check his voicemail. I complained to the "manager" about the mildew, to which he replied "the windows wouldn't go up, that's why they were left down" I told him that was a lie because the windows went up and down prior, and after. He then proceeded to hang up on me. More
Kia of Orange Park's service gets worse and worse everytime I visit. I have been 4 times this year and each time i've had to wait 15-20 minutes before someone will ask me what I need done, even when everytime I visit. They are rude and not even eager to help get your car problems fixed. My last experience I had a screw in my tire. They didn't even look at it they just told me I needed to call the tire manufacturer to check if I had road hazard insurance and then they sent me on my way. Another time I went because it seemed like oil was burning, they checked everything (I had to pay $98 too) and said everything was fine, a week later I had a blown head gasket. After this last experience I will never go back there, horrible customer service. More
Worst experiance ever, they are rude, and unwilling to make a customer happy. Sold us a brand new car with scratches and would never repair them. After some research my wife and I decided to test drive the Kia Optima. Our salesman Matt helped us with the test drive and telling us about the different models and options. Kia of Orange Park had no issue with the miles, salt and rust damage, or the failing transmission. We were offered a very fair trade in value and we were placed into a 2011 Kia Forte. We could not be happier with our purchase. Steven was our sales representative and he was courteous, attentive, and incredibly informative. Rick in financing was also very friendly and made the normally boring process, a rather quick and painless one. We were able to drive off the lot the same day and we could not be happier with our purchase. If you decide on a Kia, go to Kia of Orange Park. If you have a trade in that is less than desireable, go to Kia. If you have less than stellar credit, again.... choose Kia of Orange Park. And finally, please go see Steven!! We saw the commercial on TV about Kia Optima on Super Bowl night and decided to inquire about Optima. We were absolutely convinced that this vehicle was the best product for the money and ended up purchasing that same night. Finance and paper work went smooth and we received a great rate. They gave us a courtesy call two days later to make sure that we were happy with our car and purchase. Kia Optima looks and feels great and I love my car.
