I went into the dealership prepared to purchase a used car because I didn't think I would be able to afford a new car. I was driving a 2004 Kia Optima with over 100,000 miles. I met David Baker at the dealership and he immediately took me to the used car lot as per my request to show me what he had available. Throughout our conversation I told him how much I loved my Kia Optima and hated the idea of having to drive anything else. We picked out a couple of alternates and headed back to the office to talk numbers and David suggested we just "take a look" at the new Optima's so I could keep them in mind for later. Much to my delight I looked at several and even picked out the one I would LOVE! David went to work and gave me his best deal on the used car. It was within my budget but it wasn't the car I REALLY wanted. He went over to his manager Ed Trott and explained my dilemna and came back with a deal on the brand new Kia Optima that I could not refuse!!! I absolutely love my new car (even though I couldn't afford the sunroof I had become so attached to in my old one. I will save up for that one with my next purchase!) I had an amazing experience at this dealership and never once felt pressured into buying anything. David and Ed did everything possible in a courteous and professional manner to make me ONE HAPPY CUSTOMER!! I have already recommended this dealership and David and Ed to several of my friends! To top it all off...when my husband came to pick me up, he liked the car so much, he bought a new one for himself. We absolutely love our KIA's. Thanks! More
We came in on Monday morning and we were greeted by a nice gentlemen. He polity ask us we we were looking for and in a matter of minutes we were test driving the vehicle. During the test drive David was very knowledgeable and he took time to explain almost everything about all aspect of the vehicle. He was very relax and we did not felt any pressure during the negotiation, which was surprisingly painless and short. We go the price we wanted and drove the vehicle hone the same day. I went into Kia of Orange Park looking to trade me my 2007 Hyundai Sonata for another used car and after working with Maynor, Arthur, and Gary on January 7, 2013 I took out with a brand new Kia Forte EX. 2007 Hyundai Sonata for another used car and after working with Maynor, Arthur, and Gary on January 7, 2013 I took out with a brand new Kia Forte EX. They were great in assisting with financing, trading my car, and getting me a monthly payment that fit into my budget. They were fun, friendly, and very helpful. On Dec 13, 2012 (I know, this is late), I came to your dealership to just check off a test drive with your new Soul vehicle. Honestly, I never liked the Soul vehicle. To say that my life in that time wa dealership to just check off a test drive with your new Soul vehicle. Honestly, I never liked the Soul vehicle. To say that my life in that time was a perfect storm and a convergence of chaos with pain and suffering, is an understatement. I had already visited a few other dealerships, including the one with the same salesperson from last purchase, over 10 years ago. I was very frustrated, in SHOCK of the new prices in the market. I didn't think I could get something that I would be in love with and afford. BUT...I DID!! Not only do I LOVE my SOUL, but my experience with Ted (Q) made all the difference. I was running against time and patience and willingness to buy a new vehicle. Soon as I arrived, he immediately put me at ease and we laughed and laughed all the time I was there. Only us hispanics can understand our own shenanigans and jokes!! But not just becasue of this, but he ENDURED my baggering of repeated questions, my inquiries and my price push back. He helped with my trade-in which I didn't want to trade it in for foolish reasons - sentimental ones. I felt like two elephants were pushed off of my shoulders with this!! Thank you! I do want to say something about the Soul. I had been suffering with complications from medications since early part of 2012, in my legs, specifically.(remember my cane that night?) Well, little did I know that my previous vehicle was NOT helping with the problems, but making them worse. I drove my Soul that first weekend A LOT and to my surprise, the tendons and muscles were not hurting anymore and I have been able to do a whole lot more since then. I no longer have to use the cane. To be able to get in and out of the Soul without having to neither jump in nor strain to get out of it, has made the difference with my recovery. The kicker is that EVERYONE that sees it and me in it say the same thing, "Oh, this is so you". The very one I didn't like at first and now I love! Thanks Ted (Q) for your help.
