Don't Bother If You Want Kia Certified Pre-Owned We went to 4 Kia dealerships and fell in love with a Sportage at the Old Saybrook dealership. Our car was listed on the corporate website as being Cer We went to 4 Kia dealerships and fell in love with a Sportage at the Old Saybrook dealership. Our car was listed on the corporate website as being Certified so we went to the dealership with our loan and down payment in hand, ready to purchase the car. We were then informed that the car was only 'eligible' for the certification and it was not included in the price of the car. They wanted $1400 for Kia Certification even though it was already certified (verified this with Kia Coorporate). So we left without making a deal. They called an hour later and offered to sell the certification for $250. Too late. We were already buying a Sportage from another dealership. Out of the 4 dealerships we went to in CT, Old Saybrook was the only one that tried to charge us for the certification. The salesman, John, seemed nice enough though. I'm sure he could only do so much to help us. More

Great team- Best car buying experience Ive ever had I was greeted with courtesy and professionalism from the moment I walked onto the lot. I test drove a Seltos and then went to another dealer to test I was greeted with courtesy and professionalism from the moment I walked onto the lot. I test drove a Seltos and then went to another dealer to test drive Sportage EX. Kia of Old Saybrook beat the best offer that the other dealer made me on the Sportage and helped me close the deal within hours. I drove the car home that same night. It was truly a team effort. Thanks to Fran, Dan, Bill, and Nate for making it so easy. I love my new car. More

The easiest car buying experience I've had thus far in my life. I actaully went to Premier Kia where they obviously did not want my business since they were not interesting in crunching the numbers. Long stiry short, I called Old Saybrook Kia and spoke to Jackie and told her what I was looking for. Although we did not come in within my budget, they did get the care I wanted from New Jersey and everything was done online. When I picked up the car my paperwork was ready, the car was parked out front waiting for me. I was probably in the dealer for about an 1 hour or so on a Saturday! Everyone was friendly and got a tour of the facility. Thank you Jackie and the Kia team for making this happen. More

Whether face-to-face or on the phone very Salesperson I have spoken to listens to my needs and never tried to talk me into something more expensive or over my needs. None of the "in the future you may want..." baloney. As a woman in her 60's respect is very important and the salespeople look me in the eye. The service people explain things in layman's terms. I never feel like they are rushing me. I have quenched my curiosity by looking up the prices of expensive parts to find that their prices were very fair. My trade in was pretty close to Blue Book Value too! No price gouging. Service is done on time. More
Poor Sales My husband and I went to OS Kia to look at a used Kia Soul. We had every intention of purchasing this vehicle. I had a 3 year lease of a Kia Sportag My husband and I went to OS Kia to look at a used Kia Soul. We had every intention of purchasing this vehicle. I had a 3 year lease of a Kia Sportage which was ending. (Leased in another state.) A salesman named Bill approached us. He was an immediate turn-off. Initiated no conversation about how to end my lease and replace with a car from this dealership. No customer service etiquette what-so-ever. Five minutes and we were out the door. Fortunately another Kia dealership with a wonderful staff met all of our needs and we drove away in our Kia Soul. More
