Cheat and deceit Dealer On the 16 of last month I purchased a 2001 corvette from Capitol Kia. or who I call Cheat and deceit Kia. They advertised the vehicle at almost 16000 On the 16 of last month I purchased a 2001 corvette from Capitol Kia. or who I call Cheat and deceit Kia. They advertised the vehicle at almost 16000. but when I called they said that it needed some work and that would be included in the price. I said ok and it turned out to be 3000 more then advertised price but I wanted a vett and said ok so we financed the deal Through Wells Fargo Dealer services on that day. They salesman Matthew Howell said it would be a couple days and I could get it. I told him I didn't want to be kept in the dark and to call me on the status of MY car. They took it to the Chevy dealer and it sat there for I believe 2 weeks although I was never kept in the loop They didn't call me to this day. I did get a 5 day no questions ask money back option So at the 2.5 week delay i backed out of the deal. They refunded my down payment but not Wells Fargo 19999 Payment making it impossable for me to purchase another Vehicle from a more reputable dealer When I call Cheat and Deceit they either have a full mailbox or some other excuse as to not take my call. It has been 9 days since I cancelled the deal and Still no reply or action from this Dealer I would strongly suggest that you find another dealer to deal with because this one does not know the meaning of honesty. PS I have found two more corvettes that I wanted but couldn't purchase them because of then not returning the purchase price to the Wells Fargo Dealer services. More
Horrible Customer Service-Unhelpful Staff I purchased a 2014 Kia Cadenza pre-certified vehicle from Evan Kelley from this location on November 9, 2015. As I was purchasing this vehicle, there I purchased a 2014 Kia Cadenza pre-certified vehicle from Evan Kelley from this location on November 9, 2015. As I was purchasing this vehicle, there were some details that needed to get done before I took the car. They said they would get them fixed. The next day, I went to the dealership and they told me that they had not began to do things to the car because they were concerned about a negative balance I had on my trade in. Yes I traded my 2014 Toyota Camry for a Kia thinking I was making the right choice. Anyway, when I went to speak to Evan he said that he was worried my bank would not finance the vehicle because of the negative equity. The bank had already approved me for the amount of the purchase including the negative balance. So during my purchase, they had me wait so they could do my paperwork for about 3 hours. I did not take the car. I told them that once they completed minor things they were working on I would pick up my car. A week after the purchase I took possession of the vehicle. Since the beginning, I had been having problems with the key FOB falling off the key. Because of the holidays and work schedule, I had not been able to take the key to get checked. While at work, the key FOB fell off the key and I did not realize when and were it fell until I was about to leave home for the day. I contacted the dealership and told them the situation to see if they could replace the key FOB since, I believe there was an issue with it since it was falling off constantly. I called the dealership and could not get ahold of someone in service. On the 3rd attempt, I finally got thru and spoke to a Gus. I asked if the key was covered under warranty and he said no without checking and that it was 200.00 to replace. Then I asked him to transfer me to Susan and she said that there was nothing she could do because she was finance and called service. Service never called her wo we had to walk to service. This is at 8:00 p.m. and after waiting for an hour to see Susan. Then we spoke to a Chris in service who was helpful and tried to help. He said that he couldn't do anything but that he would speak to some Carlos in the front the next day. I then called and asked Chris if he has spoken to Carlos and he said that Carlos was not in and that I would have to wait again another day and to see what he says. I then waited 2 days and I called Chris. Chris told me that he had spoken to Carlos and that Carlos said I needed to speak to a Chris who is also a manager. Then I called Chris, who as of now I have no idea what his title is and told him the situation and the issues I had been having with the FOB. Chris then asked me if I had spoken to the sales man (Evan) about the issue and I told him that I had not yet because this was an issue that I was told only service could take care of. During our conversation over the phone and without Chris telling me he was putting me on speaker with Evan I told Evan what was going on. Basically, Evan the sales man who sold us the car said I had never told him about the issue and it was not covered under warranty and that was that. After going thru all the managers, including speaking to Jason, the General Manager the night the FOB fell off, and told me that he had no idea what to do and sent me to Carlos. So the sales man ended up making the decision after wasting all my time with this issue. I aint asking for anything more that I felt they could have assisted me. I would understand if I was the one who had lost the keys, then I would understand that I would have to pay for it. But since the beginning, I have had issues with this key and one of my biggest mistakes was not returning the key when having the issues. But because of my schedule. The other mistake is downgrading from Toyota to Kia. And especially from the Capitol Kia location. They are always there when they are trying to sell you the car, but once you have issues, they throw the buck around. No one at this location seems to know what they are doing. This is also a comment that was made by several employees from this location. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service that this location has provided and I will never purchase another Kia or recommend KIA to my family and friends. You have lost my business. Keep in mind that they already got paid for the car since my car was financed thru my bank. More
Kia got Soul Recently visited to browse for a vehicle, with an open mind, no trade in. I parked on my motorcycle, and quickly a salesman approached, and asked me Recently visited to browse for a vehicle, with an open mind, no trade in. I parked on my motorcycle, and quickly a salesman approached, and asked me what brought me in today. He took me inside and offered water, great guy. I took a seat, and review some of their brochures and material for a minute. Then another salesman approached me to find out what I was looking for, and with two car styles in mind, we went out to look at some options. One was a Forte 5 Turbo, and a Soul, both 2015, with a nice rebate. The salesman was Victor, and he reviewed fully the benefits and the comparison traits amongst the two. They were both similarly priced on my budget. Then I asked for a test drive, and we took both for a spin around the ways. It was a key experience in furthering making up my mind in the two choices. We returned to the lot, looked around a few other Souls aside the basic, and test drove some more. Once I felt comfortable I told him I would sleep on it, and so I did. There was no harsh sales tactic or scheme, or pushiness, a very casual and professional showcase of what I had came in to look for. About a week passed and I went back to get a financial plan on the vehicle choice I had made, but after talking to Victor a bit more, I also considered upgrading the basic Soul for the Soul (!) - and I can guarantee it was a smart decision. The vehicle is great, and it comes with a nice package, and it was still certainly within a reasonable budget from the initial conversation. Although some of the financial paperwork took some time, it was clear and straight to the point, so I didn't mind spending time with Victor and the financial manager to make sure everything was in order, and I got what I came in for. I'll be rolling like a hamster down the turn in my new blue Soul ! , and would recommend friends to visit Capitol Kia and ask for Victor who was very helpful and smart in the overall car buying process for a new car owner! I received a I emailed Capitol Kia a month ago about a used Lincoln MKT available on their lot. I was told the vehicle was no longer for sale. Fine. I received an email three days ago that the vehicle was again available at the same price. I live in Ohio but had to be in Austin for work at the last minute, must be a sign. I emailed them over the weekend that I wanted to talk to them about the car, I called Monday once I landed, talked with Amber who was extremely pleasant (and mentioned the price was even reduced). I setup a meeting for later in the day to look over the car. I received a call in the early afternoon from Amber telling me that the car was "sold" from under her by another salesman to someone out of state who made a $1000 deposit. I asked if I had offered money would I have been ok? Amber stated they normally do not do that because I was in town, first come first served! Well that is not the case at Capitol Kia, Amber went to the sales manager and tried to make a stand and he was not interested in the situation. More

Completely on my guard when I walked in I noticed a different atmosphere from any dealer I had ever been to. Everyone was very nice, very knowledgable and willing to listen to what I had to say about what I was looking for. The salesperson Brian took his time to help me understand the history and the future of Kia. From the salesperson, sales manager and the business manager no one was high pressure sales crazy. They made it so easy and was very willing to negotiate with out smoke and mirrors. Before you make your final purchase you must at least drop by and see what they have to offer. More

She went out of her way to make sure a deal could be made on the car of my choice. At no time was she ever pushy, plus she was very knowledgeable about the car and all the features on it. Marcus in the finance department was very helpful and friendly. He went over all the paperwork making sure that I understood everything before signing anything. Wayne in the service department, both friendly and helpful. Made sure anything that I had concerns with about the car (2014 Kia Rio) was taken car of promptly and quickly. The entire dealership staff were very friendly and made it a pleasure doing business with them. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone wanting to buy a new car. I can honestly say they will go out of their way to help you in buying a car with no pressure. More
Awful Absolutely horrible. After I decided what I wanted to buy (and my salesperson was the only good part of this experience), they left us sitting, sitti Absolutely horrible. After I decided what I wanted to buy (and my salesperson was the only good part of this experience), they left us sitting, sitting, sitting, and the process of writing a check (no loan) and leaving with the keys took 3 1/2 hours. The "finance" person we were required to sit endlessly with belched loudly and repeatedly, played the drums on his desktop, hummed and sang, took forever, and insisted that we should pay $1000 more than the price we had agreed on. Because he didn't think we were paying enough. We were seconds from leaving when his general manager finally convinced him to write the sale up as agreed. When I called to schedule the new car "detailing" (removal of acres of interior plastic wrap) the phone girl was snippy and rude, I was on hold for 15 minutes in 2 separate phone calls, and I never managed to contact anyone in the service department. I have no idea how people arrange service at this dealership. More
