I went to the Kia of North Austin to purchase a vehicle on 7/28/21 however the vehicles I saw online were “no longer available” even though they were posted on the website. I was shown a downgraded version on 7/28/21 however the vehicles I saw online were “no longer available” even though they were posted on the website. I was shown a downgraded version that because I was looking for a hybrid I allowed myself to be pressured into buying something I didn’t want. Granted when I made it to finance I originally decided to walk away from the deal but was persuaded to stay and they would change the pricing to something I wanted. Having a trade in vehicle that I owed 31,000 on I was happy at the idea of getting a smaller note and saving a ton in gas, considering I have a 760 tier 1 credit rating I probably should have just followed my gut and walked away from what was a bad deal. They offered me 28,000 for my truck and I accepted, this would be dropping my vehicle payment, saving gas and overall dropping my vehicle balance by a few thousand dollars… unfortunately what was agreed upon and what actually happened we’re not the same. After signing the contracts and leaving with the vehicle I toke it the next day to have the windows tinted for 300.00. Something didn’t feel right as I went back to the dealership to see my finance manager for some paperwork and was told he was with another customer and could not see me but the message would be passed along ASAP and I’d be contacted… never happened fast for and to Sunday I just so happened to go on their site and saw they had quickly removed the vehicle I purchased and added my truck for sale on their site an astounding $37,500. Aside from that huge difference in what they offered me vs what they are now selling it for I found it strange that the vehicles I wanted originally were gone yet still on the site after seeing how quickly they updated the info after my sale… I decided to go to the site Sunday myself and guess what I found, the original vehicle I wanted… I was so upset after being lied to that I took Monday 8/2/21 off work to go see about them making right the financing terms and the misinformation I was there when they opened at 9am. Was told by their manager that “I was an adult and they would not let me out of the contract, correct the terms or offer any apology for their actions. But I was more than welcome to exchange it for a more expensive vehicle.” Did I mention they gave me a contract on a jump drive so I didn’t get a change to review it until Sunday at work because it would not open on my personal MacBook. This experience with Kia of North Austin recently name changed to Southwest Kia was by far the worst experience I have ever had…. After leaving the location very upset I went to KIA OF SOUTH AUSTIN, the experience was great I actually had a knowledge sales person who went over vehicle features, their website was accurate on inventory and so I was going to trade it in for another same model and year but upgraded version for a little more than the purchase price of what I was supposed to be getting at Kia of north Austin… being that I had just purchased the car 5 days prior I was obviously going to be upside down on financing… not what I wanted but I also could not see staying in a vehicle I didn’t want and would be upset every time I saw it thinking of how rude and unprofessional the staff had become after taking my money… I decide that I was not going to settle and so I purchased a top of the line brand new vehicle from Elsewhere !!!!! Such a better experience they were kind helpful snd understanding to my experience at the other location and took steps above and beyond to make the purchase smooth as well as most beneficial to me knowing I had been taken advantage of by a same branded dealership… BEWARE OF SOUTHWEST KIA/KIA OF NORTH AUSTIN THEY WILL LIE, CHEAT AND STEAL THEN TODS YOU TO THE SIDE ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY… More

Jamie spent a good deal of time answering all my questions and getting me the best deal ever … no easy task as I converted from many years with sport cars to an SUV.
