After Grossinger Kia was done with service, and within seconds of me driving off the lot I realized something was missing from my car. I drove back to the dealer, parked, and proceeded to look for the item in my back seat, under my seat, in the console where it had been, etc. It was nowhere to be found. I told an employee at the dealership that "I believe someone took something from my vehicle, " and his response was "I didn't do it."...uh, strange. Next, I talked to the service manager who insisted that no one stole it, yet offered me cash instead of filing a claim. He negated me and showed no interest in finding out who had done it. He told me that this kind of thing never happens at their location. I can only conclude that things like this do happen at Grossinger Kia, but the manager pays people off and these incidents are never on "the books". He seriously asked me how much the item cost me, and gave me cash. It's always really interesting when someone insists of their own innocence or the innocence of others, but eagerly wants to smooth things over with cash. It's indicative of implication. If I wasn't already running late, I would've denied and insisted on filing a complaint. Luckily the item had no sentimental value. This place is the epitome of shady. Do not go here! More

Lowest offer of $685/mo. Not even close! Printed out the email, showed them the online quote from their website. Doesn't matter, can't & won't honor it. Walked out. Only thing I agreed to is never to buy a Kia or another Grossinger vehicle ever! More
unprofessional I have been trying to get a car from your dealership for almost 2 weeks now. I submitted my financial application a week and a half ago. Your sales re I have been trying to get a car from your dealership for almost 2 weeks now. I submitted my financial application a week and a half ago. Your sales rep Jonathan Perez called me the same day and stated that he would give my info to the financial manager and call me back. He never did. Jonathan asked if he should call or text with an answer, I told him both was fine. I called and texted Jonathan and left voicemails from Tuesday til Friday last week, no reply. I finally called the dealership last Friday myself and he stated that they couldn't take my trade in, so I asked could I just get a car without the trade in. He said he'll ask the finance manager and proceeded to place me on hold.He came back on and said I couldn't get the sorento because the down payment would be higher, so what other vehicles was i interested in. I told him 3 other vehicles and I had 2 small children and needed room. He said according to the finance manager i would need $1000 down for those vehicles but he wanted to double check and He'd call on Saturday. Never called. I get alerts when my credit is ran. Never called and said anything to me all this week I called him Monday no answer Tuesday I texted him he called back only because he didn't know who I was. he answered his phone by stating did someone call or text from this number.. smh. Once I told him who I was he said he was off today and he'd ran my credit and info to the finance manager Monday before he left work and he'd have a answer on Wednesday. So he lied because supposedly this was done last Friday. He texted me Wednesday/ yesterday and said he'd call me with a answer because his finance manager had it on their desk now. He never called back. I called and texted him. no response. so basically I've been given the run around for almost two weeks, credit ran numerous times, financial application done, vehicles picked and eveything but no response for almost 2 weeks. This is very unprofessional. If I was approved fine if I wasn't fine, I should recieve some type of response saying so and not given the run around. I'm in need of a vehicle. I live a hour and a half away from your dealership and I told Jonathan that from the beginning.i have a 5 month old baby and a 6 year old and I wanted to know if I was approved and what I needed to bring with me upon approval so it wouldn't be a wasted trip there back and forth commuting and he stated he totally understood and he's helped people like this before and it wouldn't be a problem. All I want to know is if I have been approved how much is needed down for the sorento Optima soul or sportage so we can proceed forward and i can drive out there, if not tell me im not approved so I can go elsewhere. how would u like it if your personal and financial info kept being ran and you have no idea what's going on with it for almost two weeks. horrible customer service and professionalism. Went in there for an oil change and they left my oil drain plug lose which caused a major leak on my driveway and there was a lot of oil on my valve cover from when they poured the oil in. They also left my cabin filter out on my seat. They didn’t adjust my tire pressure neither. It took them over an hour to do my oil change. Never coming back to this place. First and last time. Not only do they need new mechanics that know what they are doing but the people inside were just as bad. Scott the service manager has a very bad attitude. Seen him giving attitude to a young lady that probably didn’t understand the situation with her car. They also tried to sell me stuff that I know for a fact my car didn’t need because I had already done them at my previous visit for an oil change at a different Kia dealership. 2 thumbs down for me More

He quickly found a sales rep (Jerry) and the process started. Jerry was a consummate professional and all around nice gentleman to work with during a process that historically has been less than desirable. If I see Jerry or Zak outside of the dealership, would love to buy them a drink, really great guys. Take your business to Lincolnwood Kia, you will not be disappointed! More

Upon che I attempted to purchase a Kia Optima from this dealership. My credit wasn't wonderful, but was in great need and had a good job to afford it. Upon checking my credit, the dealership not only check with a few banks, but 60 banks! To a bank making a decision on me, the dealership's revenge was making me look bad, irresponsible, and a flat out idiot for seemingly being able to visit 60 dealerships in one day. I walked out of the dealership because we could not agree on a deal. I then received calls, emails, and text messages from the salesman. Stay away from Grossinger and stay away from "Vic". He's an idiot and gets VERY defensive. I will never go to this dealership again and I sincerely hope they lose business. More

I was told that I had an appointment for 8:00 am on Friday, June 7, 2017. The Service Department looked up my vehicle and I was told it was covered under the recall. I even waited fifteen minutes on hold to make sure that the vehicle was covered BEFORE the appointment was scheduled. Being new to the area, I thought I had seen positive reviews but now going back on this Facebook page I see absolutely no place for any reviews. After the way I was treated, I am not surprised they do not elicit reviews. After taking the day off and rearranging schedules, my 8:00 am appointment did not seem to matter to the service team. I was not even talked to or had my car taken back until almost 8:30 am. Then after waiting for thirty minutes, I was told that the recall could not be done and am now expected to continue driving a car with an OPEN SAFETY RECALL on it. The service advisor told me that they do not have the tool in stock to fix my car and there is no estimate on how long it will be for them to get the tool in stock. Not sure I understand a service department not having the correct tools to service their brand. Apparently, I am just supposed to be driving an UNSAFE car until then. The service advisor then told me I could take it to another Kia dealer if I did not want to wait for the tool to arrive at their dealership. When I said I was new to the area and did not know where the next closest dealer was, he told me I should try “googling Kia” for other locations. Why was my appointment even scheduled, after waiting fifteen minutes to verify my car qualified for the recall, when they did not have the tool in stock?! I am recently new to the Chicago area and wanted to find a Kia dealership close to home to continue to service my car and eventually get my next Kia. I am extremely loyal to the Kia brand but after this experience I might start looking into other brands. Today, I also was going to get an oil change and a quote for four new tires and a windshield replacement, to be done at this location, but after the rude experience and the “I-can’t-help-you” attitude I WILL NOT be back. Not only was everyone in the service department extremely rude and unhelpful none of them wore name tags. The only helpful person in the dealership was Oscar, the porter. He was extremely helpful and pleasant young man. He even pulled my car into the service drive so that I would not get drenched on my way out after my unsuccessful visit to the dealership. The only redeeming part of the experience was him. I do hope that the company treats him with much more respect and kindness than I was shown today. Besides Oscar, the customer service I received is something that I would not even rate half a star but if I could rate it with negative stars I would. Neither of the two gentlemen in the service area showed even a modicum of mediocre customer service. I could not even get to a manager and express my concerns of driving not only myself, but my husband and children around in this car that is unsafe due to an open safety recall. At least now, not only myself, but my friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, friendly Kia owners that I know and all the people I will meet, I can tell them NEVER go to Grossinger Kia. More
