Shaheen Chevrolet dropped my KIA Forte off at the KIA of Lansing on 12-26-23 for a cruise control calibration. He called me back saying 'You know what, I will extend the repair out to 3 weeks', this was because I reached out for an update. Robert told me my vehicle was in the shop the night prior, I drove by and it was sitting outside. He lied to me about the car being in the shop, this has been a horrible experience with this shop. Before you come here for service or repairs, think twice before. Toyota has the best customer service who are their neighbors. I will never buy a KIA again. More

When I took it in on the 19th it was unclear at 1st who was assigned to me. The female greeted me first. I told her my name and that I had an appointment to get an oil gasket cover replaced. I also asked her the price of a full-synthetic oil change. She told me. I then asked if they would have time to do an oil change along with the repair. She said yes. My rep was standing right there during this conversation and I gave him my keys. When I later paid for the repair, there was nothing about an oil change on the bill. I paid, then asked the female why they didn't do an oil change also? She replied 'If you wanted an oil change you should have him you wanted one.'. I reminded her that she told me they could do one a long with my repair. Then she changed her story saying 'They would have had to drain my oil to perform the gasket cover repair. So it was like I got a free oil change.'. I left, but began to question why there wasn't a charge for an oil filter or oil, as that would have been a billable item just like the other parts on my repair. I checked my oil later that night, and the oil was very dirty. The next day I spoke with the male rep, (Robert?). He apologized for not having the oil changed. I told him people forget things, and I wasn't upset about that. I told him I was upset that the other rep lied to me. After I told him what she said he confirmed she did lie. I then asked to speak to her supervisor. I told Kevin this story. He apologized for her behavior and told me I could bring it in anytime for a free oil change. I did. Kevin m More
