Took it straight to Kia of Irvine and had to have the transmission, transfer assay and valve cover replaced, of course it took multiple visits because after one thing was replaced it was leaking oil and had a horrible smell from the AC. They would return my car looking worse than I brought it in with oil on the seats and trim. Low and behold I didn’t realize that was the beginning of my problems….that was back in Feb/March 2023 and took months just to get the mechanical issues fixed, sometimes I had a rental, sometimes I didn’t. Now, September 2023 and my car still stinks…the AC smells disgusting if you run it the day before and the car just smells disgusting from whatever smell is coming from the AC. After bringing it in so many times they have ghosted me at this dealership and I haven’t received a call back. I have given up and don’t even drive it anymore, it just smells so disgusting. More
If there is a zero star, I would plugged that in. Considering that he had a valid point the manner in which he spoked was rude and inappropriate. You are running a big dealership not a run of the mil Considering that he had a valid point the manner in which he spoked was rude and inappropriate. You are running a big dealership not a run of the mill kind of dealership. Andrew has no business being a service advisor. And you some others with similar attitudes. Train your customer advisor to be customer oriented or fire them. There will be a lot of men and women that can do a better job. More

I complained because I need to go back to work and he yelled at me saying it was a mistake when the person on the phone said the car was going to be ready in 30 min now I'm going to be late at work is been 30 min and the car still jot ready. I'm been coming to this Dealership for years. I never had a bad experience until I meet JIM OlSON. Who don't care about costumers, when we make a appointments and tell us the car is ready and you come and car is not the least they can do is treat you right not the way this guy Jim Olson did so sad More

Perhaps the worst customer service I've ever seen (in any industry). Getting a callback is nearly impossible. Stay away. If there is an excuse, they'll find it. Service department review I am incredibly disappointed in the service department. In February 2023, my vehicle (that we bought new in October of 2021) at 20k miles and a year and a half old decided to "ma in the service department. In February 2023, my vehicle (that we bought new in October of 2021) at 20k miles and a year and a half old decided to "malfunction" in our garage as we were backing out. It started a spinning noise and then a loud jolt. Thankfully my husband had his foot on the break or else the vehicle would have launched. The service light turned on and we took it directly to the dealership. Turns out what the transmission, transfer assay, and valve cover had to be replaced. This is after multiple times of taking it back as oil was leaking a horrible smell from the AC. Those were repaired but still the horrible smell from the AC persists. Many times I have taken it to the dealership and everyone has smelled it, even the foreman, but then they have the vehicle sit a few days/week and the smell goes away, so they give it back to me (with black marks all over my beige interior on 3 of the 5 times), stating they cannot find anything. Then I drive it a few days and the horrible smell comes back. This has gone on at least 5 times and no one cares to fix it because after sitting a few days at the dealership the smell goes away. I am so upset that no one cares or is doing anything to fix this. I've been outright lied to by the dealership and they just blame someone else. No one is helping. I feel at a loss of what to do. This was supposed to be our family vehicle but had turned into a nightmare. Here is a video of the incident in our garage: https://youtu.be/0zR3sJ6v1A8 https://youtu.be/farLnkDU0Us More
Can't beat the service you will get from Mike Khartibal. My wife and I just recently bought a Telluride from him at Kia of Irvine. He was very informative about what options were available at each trim level and helped us find the exact car we were looking for, with no pressure. He was very kind and patient. He even let us in the back lot to look at all the color options and trim levels that were not on display in front. We visited several dealerships and returned to work with Mike, as he was the most honest and helpful sales rep we found. When we decided to go with the Prestige X-Pro, Mike held it for us when we had to leave town, plus he ensured that we got a really good deal. If you are in the market for a Kia, I highly suggest you visit Mike in Irvine. More
Purchased my Kia from this dealer 5 months ago and developed an electrical problem. New service advisor scheduled appointment two weeks out with first available being a Saturday. Asked if an electrica developed an electrical problem. New service advisor scheduled appointment two weeks out with first available being a Saturday. Asked if an electrical tech would be working, SA didn't know. Drove in, no electrical tech on weekends. Told to bring back on a weekday, which was done. One week later, no calls to provide status and when I called was told no-one has touched it call back next day!! Called another dealer, picking it up and taking it to them (4 star rating on service). Would not recommend regardless! More

I found a Kia Sportage Hybrid for my wife. I called to check and make sure that they have the car and it wasn't in "transit," the word they use to say we might get one soon. The guy confirmed I called to check and make sure that they have the car and it wasn't in "transit," the word they use to say we might get one soon. The guy confirmed they had that particular one in stock and I asked for his price, he said we are $5000 over MSRP. I asked him why were they selling the vehicle for more than the MSRP. He hung up. It's one thing to try and jack up the price because your business fails to produce enough vehicles but it's another thing to try and rip off the customer and then just be rude. I guess that's why they are car salesmen. The good news is we found a Kia Sportage Hybrid closer to home with no scam markup. No idea who the employee was. More
