I purchased a car here recently and I would not come back here or recommend buying a car from here again. First off, the sales person, Nadine, that helped me was either not knowledgeable or did not care to e here or recommend buying a car from here again. First off, the sales person, Nadine, that helped me was either not knowledgeable or did not care to explain any of the features of the car I purchased. She then FORGED my signature on a document that confirmed that she went over the car and I was 100% satisfied with her service. She could have gone over the vehicles features while I was waiting 3 hours for the finance person to see me. I only saw this emailed document after I left the dealership with my car. I went back a couple days later to inquire about the forged signature and the manager, in many words, shrugged his shoulders and did not seem to care that his employee forged my signature. He then gave me rude and condescending response saying “if you need someone to go over how to use your car, we can set up a time to do that”. Also while I was in the finance office, they will push extras to add to your loan. Even if you tell them multiple times, they will still push you to buy the extra services. The finance person even tried to get me to sign for extra services even after I said no multiple times, BE CAREFUL, READ BEFORE YOU SIGN.My advice, DO NOT COME HERE!! More

Purchased a used KIA and platinum warranty and had awful experiences with service EVERY time we came in. Theyve yelled at us, gaslit us, refused to honor the warranty terms, tried to charge us for covered s experiences with service EVERY time we came in. Theyve yelled at us, gaslit us, refused to honor the warranty terms, tried to charge us for covered services. Management is total garbage that ignores customer complaints and helps cover up mistakes instread of addressing complaints. Awful, rude people. Dont come here. More
Purchased a CPO Seltos in March 2023. I added the maintenance warranty, as well as the service warranty, both of which have been true to description. Unfortunately, I also agreed to pu I added the maintenance warranty, as well as the service warranty, both of which have been true to description. Unfortunately, I also agreed to purchase two "Optional" add-ons alongside the warranty packages, agreeing to the packages based on the specific description given at time of sale. Both were sold under false descriptions. Optional package 1: Theft Patrol, marked as a "Theft Deterrent Device" on the sale contract, and described by the sales associate as a device that included two features: (1) an "upgrade" that prevents my specific car from succumbing to the Kia Boys theft hack that was going viral last year and (2) the ability to set up a GPS monitoring tracker in the event of vehicle theft. I'm no longer local and another Kia dealership said this didn't make sense for my vehicle. Kia Customer Care confirms that my VIN is not susceptible to the "issue" described by the sales associate and they believe I'm entitled to a refund. Whether intentional or not, I was misled into paying an extra $1,495. I called the number on the brochure for Theft Patrol and spoke with "J.C.". Like Kia Customer Care, he also recommended I call the dealership to request a refund. I would not have agreed to this add-on and/or purchased the vehicle had I been told the truth. I was misled. Optional package 2: Carefree Paint Protection, described to me during the transaction as a service that can repair minor chips, dents, scratches, etc. in the exterior paint, as well as interior remediation work for things like stains, seat scratches, small wear and tear, etc. I've since called the third-party provider and they said what I was sold is not a paint and interior repair service, and instead a detailing solution meant for things like: tree sap, bird poop, UV damage, and dirt on the exterior, and stains on the carpet, interior trim, etc. They believe the package I was sold may have included some type of ceramic coating on the exterior paint. Not only was this "coating" never mentioned during the sale process (I was sold on a "service" never on a coating "product"), but I was specifically told the paint "protection" package was meant to repair small chips and dings. I wash my car regularly and would have never agreed to a $1,495 "detailing" package had it been sold truthfully. The representatives at Carefree Paint Protection said I don't have the paint restoration package I was sold on, and like J.C. from Theft Patrol, their recommendation is that I receive a refund from the dealership. Like the Optional package #1, I would not have agreed to these terms had I been told the correct information for this optional package. I have not used either product / service and both third-party companies + Kia Customer Care believe I am entitled to a refund. Kia Customer Care told me to speak with Danielle Ortega to make this right but no one is able to put me in touch with them. I've tried calling the dealership several times over the last week and I'm either told that everyone is "away from their desk right now" or I'm transferred to someone else's voicemail. I've left a few messages and have yet to hear back, so now I'm here. I hate having to leave negative reviews like this, but there's clearly no other way to get in touch with management. Disappointed. Make this right, Kia of Irvine. More
I’m not trying to be dramatic but this was the worst sales experience of my life. My husband and I are looking to lease 2 new cars and we were deciding between 3 vehicles: sportage, sportage plug in sales experience of my life. My husband and I are looking to lease 2 new cars and we were deciding between 3 vehicles: sportage, sportage plug in and sorrento. “Top salesman” William reprimanded us that we didn’t have an appointment and could only test drive 2 cars. Somehow it made more sense to him to put my husband with a separate salesman, Ronin, to drive the same car. Ronin would only allow my husband to test drive 1 car per “non appointment policy”. What?? William wouldn’t explain the differences on the trims, left me in the sweltering parking lot to print out the specs, then told me to read the difference. Sent us to the inventory lot and told us to take a picture of the vin of what we wanted to drive and he’d get the keys. You know, on the cars that we didn’t know the difference between. I complained to another sales rep at the entrance about my experience after I was once again abandoned by William, and they literally walked away from me, then pointed at me and made derogatory comments. How is this place in business? As if buying a kia is such a privilege that you can only drive 1 car without an appointment? Come on. I have heard terrible things about the service department at this dealer so I blame myself for thinking the sales department would be any different. You only get a staff this terrible if the leadership is bad. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. More
We worked with Michael Awada and without any questions it was the best car buying experience we have ever had. We came in for a 2024 EV6 and Michael took the time to explain everything to my wife as this wi was the best car buying experience we have ever had. We came in for a 2024 EV6 and Michael took the time to explain everything to my wife as this will be her car. He really treated us like family. I have done a number of leases and purchases in the past for family members and friends, and I highly recommend this dealership and especially Michael if you are in the market for a new vehicle. More
