Kia of Huntington Went to Kia of Huntington for an Optima SX. The salesman, John Kraft, was waiting at the door. He was extremely helpful in getting the car for a test Went to Kia of Huntington for an Optima SX. The salesman, John Kraft, was waiting at the door. He was extremely helpful in getting the car for a test drive and completing the deal. He was very knowledgeable about all the features of the car and took the time to explain everything. The dealership donates money for every car sold and set up the car with a pink bow for photos. Picking up the car was easy with no pressure. Delaership was clean and nice area to sit when waiting. I would recommend this dealer to friends and family. More
un-happy with my purchase, but NOT at kia of huntigton I narrowed my car leasing search to KIA after several test drives and exploring other makes and models. I met with John Kraft over at Kia of Huntingto I narrowed my car leasing search to KIA after several test drives and exploring other makes and models. I met with John Kraft over at Kia of Huntington. John was great he far far exceeded any other sales people that I encountered during my search.His whole stle of greeting us at the door with class and his whole entire presentation of how he went over the sportage in detail from that to the excellent test drive , demonstrating ALL of the Kia drive wise safety features , all of it was so professional. Then he worked out the numbers which was amazingly smooth as could be and the price was actually LOWER than what we expected. What went wrong was me thinking that I could take all of this information to the next closest kia dealership to see if they could beat John's numbers at kia of huntington. Again John was great but I told him I had to do my due diligence and shop that price, John explained to me that we are all fishing from the same pond, meaning the other dealership , well they all buy from the same source. He asked what my intentions were and I told him that I would call other Kia dealerships and tell them that I got this price from John at Kia of Huntington, his answer was that of course over the phone it's that professional sales person over the phone, his only shot of a sale is to say 'what price did John give you' and then automatically their response is "ok my price is several hundred dollars less AND $30 less per month. Also John said they will do whatever it takes to blow that deal up with John at Kia of Huntington. He also said that they will yes,yes, yes you through the whole process of the sale, also keep you there for hours and hours on end, getting the car ready, insurance He said they will intentionally do this , he called it 'let them marinate' and at the very end they will say 'oh your credit was not that good and , it's not us it's the bank' He also said they refer to it as tie them to the chair and buy or die. And he also said that They would burn up so much of my time that in the end I will just give up because by that time i've wasted not just a few hours but a whole day. He also said a quote from someone like a president ,' who ever in bargaining goes last usually wins. In the end not only did I have to put down more money, but it was $759 dollars more that Kia of Huntington's deal AND $39.77 MORE THAN Kia of Huntington well to end this horrible experience John Kraft was 100% correct A HUNDRED PERCENT CORRECT ! ! everything he said ! exactly how all this horror show would end. EXACTLY. And very unfortunately I did in the end I just gave up and at that point I just wanted to get out of there. So now I'm kicking myself for #1- not listening to John Kraft and #2- I should of RAN not walked out of that dealership. Big lesson learned there. I should of trusted ( as I did in my gut ) John Kraft. More

First Visit couldn't have been better Just happened to be passing by Saturday and i was curious about your Sportage, Just relocated back from Las Vegas, Kia is very popular out there, surp Just happened to be passing by Saturday and i was curious about your Sportage, Just relocated back from Las Vegas, Kia is very popular out there, surprised I don't see more Kia's on the road here, but you'll get there, all my friends out west said best SUV on the road. My lease is up soon on my Volkswagen, and Iv'e had at least 6 of them over the past 25-30 years, never has a problem with any of them. But I think it's time for a change. Walked in and was greeted by Teddy. Well, just from talking to him, he sold me, what a super nice guy, very knowledgeable about his products, and had all the correct answers for all my questions. Not easy in this world anymore to find someone who knows what there talking about and have a super personality!! I will be back to start the procedure in about a month, and of course I will make sure Teddy is there to do his thing..I'm in sales as well and having a personality goes along way in this world these days, not easy to find anymore. More
