Car dealerships by nature are just scummy places to do business. There is no other place you do business with where you know you're going to be scammed when you walk in. Kia of Everett is no different. Th business. There is no other place you do business with where you know you're going to be scammed when you walk in. Kia of Everett is no different. They employ gimmicks and tactics to confuse buyers and increase their profits. For example, the installed dealer add-ons are the worst. These are things no one wants, don't show up on the sticker or the ad for the vehicle, but are added to the price when you make the purchase. These are huge profit makers for the dealer, and the buyer is basically stuck with them. In my case, the dealer added cheap-xxx, ugly mats, called it a package and wanted 500 bucks! They also added Pulse braking, called it a "system" and added another $400. I got them to pull out the mats, but I was stuck with the Pulse braking which cost them about 25 bucks to install. I should have refused to pay for that crap. When the sales manager is high-fiving you after the deal, you known you paid too much. Can you imagine ordering a burger in a restaurant and the waiter bringing you fries and a salad too? And when you tell him you didn't order those, he says sorry, they're already added to the bill, and don't forget tip! More
