Nice place nice car but First of all you need to know I am an senior who doesn’t like car dealers. On top of that I am spending a lot of money for what I think is one of the worst investment I can think of. My 23 year old car, that I was replacing, ran fine and was old enough to not depreciate or require much for property tax. Unfortunately it was rusting out and finally needed to go. That said I was not disappointed as you treated me atypical of what dealerships do. It’s a big place with lots of glass and there is an un-said but felt pressure to buy something. Kudos to you. The salesman was gracious, knowable, polite and showed us some nice cars so I give him high marks. I have one major complaint. I would liked to have known ahead of time (when we were discussing pricing with the salesman) exactly what “certification” meant and what other benefits the dealer was going to offered. Example: It wasn’t until we sat down to pay for the car that we found out about other offers that were available to us. There were 5 items (totaling $2500) as I remember. One was a paint maintenance offer for $500 plus dollars and another was a fairly inclusive offer that would warranty many of the other (outside of the power train) items in the car for $1565.00. These items would extend coverage to when the car reached 10 years and/or 100,000 miles. As you can tell I don’t like surprises and in some ways it cemented my feelings toward car dealers. I would have liked to have heard about these items earlier so that I would have had more time to decide which one if any I liked. It dawned on me that I was at a car dealer and this is just the way they do things. I thought about getting up and walking away right there. So the salesman and the gentleman who showed us how to manage/operate the car and radio/navigation system i give them 5 stars. As a dealership I give it 3 stars. More

They’ve greeted me cheerfully by name over the phone and in person. They have worked with me to manage the financial end of maintaining my vehicle and tried to raise my spirits when I’ve had car trouble. I don’t typically enjoy waiting... for anything, but when I wait with the Kia of East Hartford service team, I generally leave smiling. More

The good service includes easy to schedule appointments, minimal wait time for maintenance to be completed, highly professional work, a washed car at each visit, and care to apply all available warranties and discounts. With this dealership, it is very convenient to keep my vehicle running in top shape. More

I left my car there to get its 80K check-up and possible door repair. Courtesy car drove me home to wait for an afternoon call. They called to inform me the possible fix with time, parts and cost.
