I’m extremely happy that I decided to go with Kia. Brian Dennis is an excellent sales person, the fact that he listens to his customers is outstanding, doesn’t force you to take what you don’t want. I had to bring my vehicle in for a diagnostic because it wasn't driving well. When I wanted to pick it up, the service advisor said I was not able to bring it home because it is not drivable. He said that wasn't driving well. When I wanted to pick it up, the service advisor said I was not able to bring it home because it is not drivable. He said that it has a recall that needs to be fixed but the part won't be in for 2 months. I asked to take the car home because I wanted another opinion and I was forced to sign something that said my car was unsafe to drive and that I am declining it to be fixed. This service provider made me feel like I was doing something dangerous and breaking the law. He also lied to me and said the car was taken apart and I can't drive it home but when I got there it had not even been touched. I finally took the car "at my own risk" and brought it to another Kia dealership in CT and was told that it is fine to drive and just needed a coding and that there were no recalls preventing me from driving it. I can't believe two different dealerships would give me two different diagnostics. I will never bring my Kia back to East Hartford, never do business with these crooks, and will never recommend them to anyone. I would still be waiting for my vehicle if I had not brought it to a different dealership. These people were unprofessional and made me feel like a criminal. Don't do business here!! More
Kia makes great cars, it’s just to bad I went though Kia of East Hartford. It has been a nightmare. Between the salesman Tom, finance guy Jose and even the Manager Jeff Z. I purchased a new Forte in Januar of East Hartford. It has been a nightmare. Between the salesman Tom, finance guy Jose and even the Manager Jeff Z. I purchased a new Forte in January. Tom and Jose tricked me into buying paint and interior insurance by saying it was mandatory when buying a new car. Then snuck in a $3000 bumper to bumper warranty. I luckily was able to cancel but I am still waiting for the refund for the $3000 warranty 6 months later. I spoke with the Manager Jeff Z once and since he will not return calls. I would never recommend Kia of East Hartford to anyone. More
