Terrible communication and customer service. Told one thing by one person, then got something different. Was told that person was fired after the fact. Literally had to drive to the shop to get info about car because no one answers phones are wants to call you and tell you whats going on. Told the car would be done on a Monday, then a Tuesday then a Wednesday after I dropped it off the week prior. The car basically sat while I juggled transportation and had no clue what was going on because again no one communicates. On top of it all the charges are ridiculous. Who charges over $400 for 2 shocks? In the beginning I thought this included struts because this is what the fired person led me to believe. But no $400 for 2 shocks that I can pick up online for $75. Dishonest and overpriced. Was offered some free car washes for my troubles. I could not pay my overpriced bill fast enough and take my business elsewhere. I really thought better of this place but the service shop needs help. More
Have had my service done there for 3 years, had an issue and it was resolved expediently. There has been a change in staff. Scheduled and oil change and tire rotation last week, I work 3rd. Had appointment to at 9:30, simply wanted to drop my car off and assumed there was a drop box at 6am. Shockingly I could not find one, sign on door and website said 7:30am Service. Drove over at 7::20, no one in service. Two service employees walked past me at 7:30. One stopped and stated they open, they will be with me shortly walked off with no interaction. Mind you I just wanted to drop my car off. I waited until 7:45, (the hours clearly on the door states 7:30am). I drove off and decided that to Kia of Dayton employee in service, it's not an issue, losing one customer is not any type impact on the bottom line. So that will be my last visit. More
DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE DEPT! I took my 2017 Kia DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE DEPT! I took my 2017 Kia Sorento in (under warranty) because when I'm driving at night my headlights randomly shut off. The DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE DEPT! I took my 2017 Kia Sorento in (under warranty) because when I'm driving at night my headlights randomly shut off. The only thing they cared about was seeing it for themselves. They wouldn't search a little for the issue, or troubleshoot anything. They ran a diagnostic test, which came back fine and tried to recreate the problem. Then told me, they couldn't do anything. The tech, Chris's suggestion was to take a video of it happening! Anyone with a brain knows that's illegal and would be risking my life, my family's lives, and anyone else on the road. They had my vehicle for 3 days and did nothing, other then put miles on it and use my gas. My original service request even asked for an oil change which they didn't do either. I also emailed the GM about all the issues and NEVER got a response. He's had no problem emailing my husband about a new car though. That should tell you everything you need to know about this location! My car is currently at Taylor Kia in Lima being serviced and fixed properly. Without video proof!!! More
Went in for a possible trade in and walk out with a new 2020 KIA. Alan was very helpful and helped us find just what we was looking for and took the time to explained everything to us with no gimmicks. Wou 2020 KIA. I took my car there for service and instead of fixing it they tried to sell me a newer one. My engine went out on my car and I knew it went out , I towed it there for service and they still charged me $116 they tried to sell me a newer one. Kia of Dayton-Huber Hts always goes out of the way to help the customer. This time they took time from their work to fix the car keys door opener- door lock. Bought a 2017 Jeep Renegade Latitude here and dealt with William Chinn. He was amazing and so was the financing manager who was able to get a payment a little under our budget.
