This is a very shady dealership. All they want to do is rip people off. I bought a car for msrp $45000 had it for a little over a year with 23k miles on it. They emailed me and told All they want to do is rip people off. I bought a car for msrp $45000 had it for a little over a year with 23k miles on it. They emailed me and told me they wanted to give me top dollar for it to trade it in. I spent 3 hours there and they offered me $23000 for it and said it was top dollar. This is by far the worst dealership I've ever been to. Stay far away!!! More
Had an appointment to get a tire changed the appointment was more than a week out. They said they had the tire and I made the appointment. Get their wait over an hour from the appointment time for the guy t was more than a week out. They said they had the tire and I made the appointment. Get their wait over an hour from the appointment time for the guy to come out joking that I’d have to come back Monday… turns out they didn’t even have the right tire. I drove 1.5 hrs to get there and wasted another 1+ hrs for nothing will not be returning. More
Kia of Dayton has been my go to dealership ever since we bought our first Kia over 10 years ago. Nothing but great service from a friendly staff. We dropped the wife's car off without an appointment for a bought our first Kia over 10 years ago. Nothing but great service from a friendly staff. We dropped the wife's car off without an appointment for a check engine light. They asked that I be patient. In three days it was completed so the wife and I were very pleased with their quick response . . . because Happy Wife means Happy Life ! More
I purchased My car from this dealership in April of 2021. Since then, I have experienced their Sales Department, Their body shop and their Service Department. All Departments have provided superior service. Since then, I have experienced their Sales Department, Their body shop and their Service Department. All Departments have provided superior service. I would absolutely buy my next car from them and we will not use any other service providers to maintain and repair our vehicles. 5 star experience at every visit. More
The service at Kia of Dayton (Ohio) is horrible! I took my 2023 Kia Sportage, on a scheduled appointment for a recall on the brake booster. The service tech, John Andrasik, gave me my keys after he I took my 2023 Kia Sportage, on a scheduled appointment for a recall on the brake booster. The service tech, John Andrasik, gave me my keys after he told me that my car failed the brake inspection. I asked why he gave me my keys if my car failed the inspection. He said KIA doesn’t have the part because it’s on a national back order. I asked him what was I supposed to do? He shrugged his shoulders at me!! I asked what that meant? And he didn’t respond right away. He said the dealership didn’t have the part and it was on back order. I asked how long until they get the part. He said that it could be a week or could be a month, he didn’t really know. I asked if they could give me a loaner until mine was fixed as I needed to work. He said that they “didn’t do that”. I said I couldn’t believe that they didn’t care about my safety or the other drivers around me and asked again, what am I supposed to do? He shrugged his shoulders again!!! I sat in the parking lot for about 20 minutes trying to decide how I would get home. After I drove home (slowly and cautiously), I called a different KIA dealership (Castrucci) and explained my situation. The service tech there asked how I got home and I said that I drove my car. He couldn’t believe that they gave me my keys back. I asked him what does your dealership do if a car fails a brake inspection. He said that they keep the keys and don’t give them back to the customer! The service took place on 6/29/23, and I made phone calls on 6/29, 6/30, 7/1, 7/3, and 7/6, to KIA of Dayton, KIA Corporation, and to the Ohio Attorney General’s office (who referred me to the BBB Auto Line). I have a KIA case number, and a BBB case number. I have yet to hear back from any supervisor or manager from KIA of Dayton or KIA Corporation. I did hear back from Jada (no last name) on 7/3/23. She tried to tell me it was a “misunderstanding” between the dealership and me. Are you kidding?? There was no misunderstanding, the service tech and/or the manager was lying about the services performed, the keys being given back to me and sending me on my way, and the outcome, or they just didn’t care at all about my safety and the safety of others. She also said that my case had been moved up to the “escalation team” and that they had 5 business days to respond to me (7/3 to 7/13…more than 5 business days within these dates!) I am still without a vehicle and have had to borrow transportation as I cannot afford to make a car payment on a BRAND NEW KIA that is not safe due to faulty brakes, and pay for a rental car (which more than 3 KIA employees told me I would have to pay for and then possibly get reimbursed for later), AND pay for a tow truck to tow my BRAND NEW KIA back to the negligent dealership because the brakes could go out on me if I drive it!! What is wrong with you people that you are so grossly negligent and you don’t care about my safety or any other drivers around me?? What if my brakes go out and I kill one of your children on the road because of your faulty vehicle? I have spoken to the following people with KIA of Dayton and/or KIA Corporation: Nisha, Taylor, Courtney, Lori, Jada, and only heard from one person. I have attempted to speak to and/or leave messages for Jared Koger, Adam Valentine, Jeff Mitchell, and left a voicemail on the number that is supposed to be a supervisors’ line (which states someone will return my call within 24-48 hours, but no response from anyone). It would be amazing if SOMEONE from the KIA Corporation cared about their customers’ safety and would step up and do the right thing!! I will never buy another KIA or deal with you people. You make faulty, unsafe vehicles and you don’t take responsibility for your cars, safety, or your customers. It would be great if someone from KIA would contact me to get my BRAND NEW CAR back to the dealership and kept until fixed. AND would pay for a rental car for me so I can go to work. More
The dealership itself is fine. There are a couple of shady characters working there though. Dishonest to say the least!!! Not sure that I will be returning in the future though.
