have a 2017 kia sportage sx with the gdi motor. Kia knows the issue with the theta 2 motors and after trying to get mine replaced after 4 months, with excess oil consumption (9-10 quarts every 3000 Kia knows the issue with the theta 2 motors and after trying to get mine replaced after 4 months, with excess oil consumption (9-10 quarts every 3000 miles), car stalling, told me I did not qualify because I was the 2nd owner. I would NEVER recommend anyone buy a kia/hyundai! More
