Over 2 hour wait for a SCHEDULED appointment for service. Has been a bad service experience since we bought. Our first oil change they left the drain plug out and we drove all the way home not realizing we Has been a bad service experience since we bought. Our first oil change they left the drain plug out and we drove all the way home not realizing we left a trail of oil all the way. Engine died at 100k miles after religiously doing only Full synthetic from the start. Either extra wear from the initial oil change or just a crappy manufacturer, you be the judge. More
Though I liked the ride and handling of my 2022 Buick Envision with under 24,000 miles, I passed a Sorento on the road and really liked the way it looked. So, decided I would just drop by dealership to Envision with under 24,000 miles, I passed a Sorento on the road and really liked the way it looked. So, decided I would just drop by dealership to investigate.......thus, I now drive a beautiful Midnight Lake Blue Sorento! I sacrificed my Envision heated steering wheel for a Sorento panoramic roof.... which was a must if I was to trade. In looking at options at dealership, salesman informed me that Sorento with less than 500 miles had only been used by dealership to transport customers when their vehicles were in for service, even though it was being sold as used; seemed odd. Next day, another salesman informed me that he had sold vehicle to a lady who returned in 3-4 weeks stating Sorento was too big and she wanted a sedan. I don't appreciate 2 different stories. First salesman gave me figures, working within my budget for down payment and monthly payment. Trade-in value was acceptable. I left that day to give this $38,000+ purchase overnight thought. Salesman called next morning to explain down payment and monthly payment would be more than stated day before due to difference in tax credit since Sorento was considered used. Very disappointing. With all considered, I did purchase the Sorento and am enjoying my new ride. One note I hope Kia will address for future models - - - I too often must take my eyes off the road to look at the control panel button indicating infotainment or climate. Also, every time I start the Sorento, I have to confirm I am driver 1; wait while popup reminds me to drive safely and obey laws, and more; press 'infotainment' button on control panel to get to radio, and press 'favorites'. That's too much every time I start my vehicle. Why can't screen start where I left it? Then, while driving, if I want to change to 'climate' to adjust temp, must take eyes off the road to locate that button. If there is a way to avoid all this, please let me know. I had a question day after purchasing the Sorento. Devon in service department immediately drove in the car with me to address the issue. After spending time in the driveway with the manual, discovering the Sorento, I, again, asked Devon questions. And, again, he immediately was very, very helpful. More
Called Kia Huber Heights to setup a time to come and test drive a couple different models and the employee "Alex" and mentioned we were just starting to look for a vehicle and didn't know when we would be bu drive a couple different models and the employee "Alex" and mentioned we were just starting to look for a vehicle and didn't know when we would be buying. Alex said he totally understood and in the same breath hung up the phone. This is unacceptable in any service industry. We will spread the word about this dealership in hopes they take there business to a place that treats customers better. Good luck to any employer that allows employees to treat customers this way.
