Smooth as Silk On August 1, using carfax.com, I identified a 2014 Kia Cadenza located at Kia of Columbia. The vehicle met all of my search criteria so I emailed for additional information at approximately 6:10 pm. Within 5 minutes, I received a phone call from Jermaine Adams, sales professional. Less than 24 hours later, the Cadenza was mine. Jermaine was respectful and knowledgeable, yet exerted no sales pressure, during the entire process. The amount of time physically spent in the dealership was less than one hour. I look forward to a continued positive relationship with the Kia of Columbia staff and highly recommend Jermaine. More

Matt made it aggressively clear that he was uninterested in spending any of his time with us, did not listen to me regarding what I was there to see, and then tried very hard to sell me on a vehicle I had already told him didn't meet my criteria. He was actively rude, pointedly impatient, and even flat out denied us —two adults— a test drive of what we came there to see. "If you want a free ride, go to an amusement park." I have truly never met a salesman that left a worse impression. I would return to this dealership, not least because the General Manager has been fairly responsive to this matter. But I'll be happy never to work with Matt again. More

This in itself is enough to buy a car from them, but what truly impressed me was the whole car buying experience. The dealership had a very friendly and calming vibe compared to the other dealerships I had visited. I never felt pressured and truly felt like a special customer. Part of the reason for this was the wonderful sales person I had named Novy Foland. I can't say enough good things about him! He got me everything I asked for in a car and more. They gave me the price and financing I asked for, plus they were wonderful friendly and professional with me. Novy went above and beyond answering any and all questions I had, even showing me personally how to better drive my new hybrid after I bought it and had questions after I left. He has responded to emails and texts. Even followeing up with me on the phone and in person after I have purchased my car to make sure I am completely satisfied with my purchase. It's this attention to the customer that is very impressive. I highly recommend Novy Forland if you plan on buying a Kia! He and everyone at Kia of Columbia has made this car experience the best one I have had so far! More

Luck put me on the phone with Robert Ridgeway when I called in...he made it EASY for us to end our car search! As I was not able to run in to look at the vehicle that day, he went WAY out of his way to give me all the info I wanted over the phone. He provided key details, texted all the photos I wanted, took it for a test drive while I was on the phone, and finished by taking it to the mechanic (of my choice) to have it looked at. Once I was sure my mechanic approved, I brought my husband in on the conversation. For Robert to provide all of that time and excellent customer service was a HUGE time savings for us!! Seeing the vehicle in person, it was as described, and as the photos showed. Our test drive went well and turned up no surprises. Having done lots of research, I was already aware of the market value of the SUV, and as it was already a pretty great deal, negotiations were quick and easy. Although we arrived pre-approved by our credit union, Finance Manager Greg DeLong was very helpful, and got us financed elsewhere for a full percentage point less! He was also very helpful at explaining all of the "extras" (service plans, etc). There wasn't anyone we encountered that didn't make us feel like valued customers, even though were weren't buying or leasing new. Everyone went above and beyond, and we are pleased with our new-to-us new car. I highly recommend Robert Ridgeway at Kia of Columbia...in a day where excellent customer service is hard to find, he stands far above the rest More

Showed up at dealership on saturday as scheduled and started looking at vehicles. we had informed them we wanted to see Rios,Fortes and maybe Souls. when we got there we were informed they had our car ready to go. it was the Rio. We still wanted to see what they had. this was white. they had others at another location so we went and looked at them. same vehicle and price just a different color. we also saw a Soul that was only 2000.00 more than the Rio they had prepared for us.After test drives of both vehicles we decided we liked the Soul better. now its numbers time. we had a trade, they lowballed it on the offer.said we had money down also. The problem was I spent hours researching incentives,rebates, and neighboring dealerships for identical cars. so they came back with a high figure, I counteroffered and met immediate resistance. even offered to keep my trade in and sell it personally but add another thousand to the down payment.now supposedly the first vehicle met the peremeters i established by phone for cash down, trade and monthly payment amount. I showed them a quote from another kia dealer in Rolla I have dealt with.yet even with additional money the incentives advertised online they couldnt find( luckily i took a photo with phone) after counteroffer they went back in the glass "to hash it out" Now the finance manager comes out and says you agreed to these terms and this vehicle on the phone. and that they had to pay the bank to get us financed at even 17% to 19% interest. and that it was wrong for us to shop other dealers also.when we stated we had not put anything in writing nor seen any of the vehicles prior to today he became mad. which made my wife mad which made us pick our papers and leave. We found a nice preowned Kia sorento down the road and after hours less negotiations purchased it and drove it home. and without trading in our vehicle also(which had we not stopped at the other dealership we would have drove 50 miles home without the title to our trade. when i returned to get it at first i was told they didnt have it. but they found it in the managers office. i bet they wont honor the online 25.00 gift card nor the guarantee they qouted 4 times through the process of the will match or beat a competitors price or they will pay you 1000.00. oh well I came out way ahead today.
