Waste of Time First and foremost a KIA vehicle is a great product. I have had two and like them both a lot. Have dealt with KIA of Columbia now for 2 years. Quite unhappy with their tendency to give misleading information that in the end wastes my time. I spoke with a sales rep today for hours in texts and on the phone. Thought we had an understanding. I drove an hour one way to meet with them tonight. When I got there the next sales manager looked at my information and in 10 minutes was able to tell me that what I wanted to try and do was not possible. I get that...but to have spent all day communicating with the first sales person and then waste an hour each way of my time tonight. I will not be doing business with them again in the future. I will find a new vehicle home. The only reason I gave them one star is because there is no zero. More

Time went on and I found a car I was interested in and remembered how nice Novy was to my wife and I the first time. Completely pressure free sales is the way he rolls :-) When I came in this time he remembered me and was very helpful in working through the purchase process. Mike stopped by and introduced himself and was also very friendly. Then when we needed to wrap up the sale I was able to work with Jermaine. He too was super friendly and was very flexible in working with me to get what I needed at the cost I wanted. Overall a great experience and will consider working with this group in the future given another car purchase. More

Prices at the end was not what was quoted but was remedied I came into Kia of Columbia (719 Business Loop West, Columbia, MO 65203) for a mount and balance of four tires and and a 4-wheel alignment. I brought in with me 4 brand new General tires and the TPMS RBK Basic Kit 1100K. I also brought in a $25 coupon for work done over $100. This was their quote: Mount and Balance of 4 tires and the Disposal of 4 tires........$78.00 4-Wheel Alignment..........................................................................$70.00 Less: $25 coupon............................................................................$25.00- Should be (nothing else was done)............................................$123.00. When I got my invoice (which was very confusing), the total bill was $142.95. It broke down as follows: Mount and balance of 4 tires and the disposal of 4 tires........$74.00 4-Wheel Alignment..........................................................................$79.95 SS CP Shop Supplies (this was under the Alignment)...............$14.00 Less: $25 coupon.............................................................................$25.00- Total Invoice Amount.....................................................................$142.95 In essence, Kia of Columbia dropped the price of the mount and balance by $4, padded the price of the alignment by $10, and threw in the cost for supplies of $14 (what supplies are needed for an alignment?). So my coupon was essentially only $5 instead of $25 (after padding $20 to the quoted price, $10 + $14 - $4 = $20). I did not dispute it because it was still a good price (after calling around the Columbia area for quotes), but why does Kia of Columbia put out a coupon when they are just going to dishonor it by padding the prices? Needless to say, I did not walk out of the dealership with a good purchase experience. After writing this review, the owner and manager of Kia of Columbia, Dan Kellar, reached out to me, apologized for my experience, and refunded me $20. Also I was very happy with the work they did on my car, it was top-notch. I sincerely wish though that Kia of Columbia would better understand what is needed to truly delight the customer. I think they are worth a second chance. More
