Recall gone bad Took car in for recall update for the computer . Was told it would take 1 1/2 after sitting in the waiting area for 3hrs I had to go to the service an Took car in for recall update for the computer . Was told it would take 1 1/2 after sitting in the waiting area for 3hrs I had to go to the service and ask how much longer is it going to take . That's when the told me that the tech couldn't gets the my computer In the car wouldn't take the update . He said the computer froze . So they had to order a new computer and it was back ordered it could take 3days to 3months . A month later I got the car back . Could write a lot more about the visit but don't have all day to do it . I have to think real hard about going back More

Do not do business with this dealership I have purchased over 15 new cars in my life, 3 of them Kias from another dealership. This is the worst car buying experience ever. Do Not Buy from KIA of Coatesville I like my KIA Sportage, but this dealership is not trustworthy. Bought the car expecting a BSP (Blind Spot Protection System) I was shown by the Sales I like my KIA Sportage, but this dealership is not trustworthy. Bought the car expecting a BSP (Blind Spot Protection System) I was shown by the Sales Manager Mike Reitano himself only to drop it off and they installed an aftermarket system. They lied about the whole transaction to Kia Corporate. I understand that my sales person no longer works there appeasing KIA I assume to protect the Sales Manager who is not truthful. The car was delivered without the full detail required and paid for and not clean. So much for dealer prep! Once you agree to buy the car all the nice comments, conversations are gone, they got you! Wait too long to complete the deal, well over an hour and a half. They did not care, they had my trade in, my keys, we me having to wait and wait. The comment from Mike the sales manager Mike Reitano when I complained about the BSP system not being what he and the sale person showed me and sold me was actually an aftermarket system that KIA Motors does not approve of or condone, was "it is what it is". I can only imagine what the service department would be like with a culture like that. Don't buy here, not trustworthy, the typical Pressure from a dealer that wants to get you on the hook and could care less about being fair to the customer. False advertisements are there specialty too, get a TV or get a grill, things if that nature. Don't fall for it. When I complained to KIA, they advised me that the dealership should not have done that but they are privately owned and they can't control how they act towards customers but appreciated the concern and noted another complaint angsint KIA of Coatesville. Avoid the lies, the bait and switch and go to a reputable dealer. KIA does have a nice product. More

Waste of time After a week of emails and texts I had an appointment to the Jim Sipalas in Coatesville, was sent a text by the salesman I had been corresponding with After a week of emails and texts I had an appointment to the Jim Sipalas in Coatesville, was sent a text by the salesman I had been corresponding with asking if we could push back the time and that was fine. When I do arrive I shake hands with James and then pushed off onto another salesman, who was friendly but was new. I had already filled out a credit application before going there, had spoke to a financial Manager on the phone stating I was pre qualified and asked what type of car I'm interested in, however, upon arrival I am once again filling out a credit application only to be told that I need a big down payment, never being told the exact amount and told to have a nice day, as if to say I cannot afford the down payment and I wasn't worth anymore of their time. Why bother filling out two credit applications when I had already done one, why waste my time if I wasn't qualified?? Oh and I never again spoke to James while there, nor even seen or spoken to Austin one of the financial guys. Bottom line made me feel like I was not good enough to be in their dealership. Even when I do get my credit straightened out and can get into a new car it will not be here. More

That's customer service??? Not going to mention the salesmans name because he's doin what he's been told to do.
