I was told that they would hold a check for 30 days they did not. They cashed it the day after I bought my car, It caused me bank fees, then they made me come down twice to fix it and write another check. Then they re cashed the returned check and luckily I had the money in the account I called several times to get them to give me my 2nd check back and the fees I was charged. They never called me back. When they decided to call back they told me that they don’t have my money and that I needed to prove that it was cashed in order to get my check back. I provided it and they still refused to respond I had to pay a fee to stop payment on a check that was going to be cashed even though they already had their money. My boyfriend had to go back down to get my check after they decided I was right another waste of gas for their mistake. I will never go back to that dealership and I will never recommend them to anyone. I wasted my time and my gas going back to fix their mistake I am disgusted with them and the way they made it seem like it was my fault plus I am out over $100 in fees because of them! I have never been so stressed out by someone not knowing how to do their job! I don’t appreciate being treated like crap! This is a disgrace to dealers!!! More
Saleswoman was very nice and attempted to answer all of our questions. Did buy a car but the experience was not pleasant since the sales manager kept changing the figures and I kept questioning the reason for the inconsistencies. Did not get a fair price for our trade-in but did not realize it at the time. Actually the figures were missing any credit for our trade in at first, until I mentioned it. Sales manager kept reassuring us and apologized but kept changing numbers around. When we got to the finance office, another dealer credit suddenly disappeared from the figures. When I questioned it the sales manager tried to talk around it. 4 hours later we left with a car but the stress of the experience was overwhelming. The owner pleasantly greeted us earlier in the day but did nothing to help smooth things out. Since he was on site, I thought he might help a bit. I would not want to repeat such a frustrating visit. I felt very uncomfortable with the consistent errors that occurred throughout the purchasing and trade-in process. They never showed us the car we actually came back within 24 hours of our first visit to discuss. They kept redirecting us to other vehicles. Wish the experience had been different. More
Horrible experience with Kia. Purchased a new Kia, had a bank lined up, payment date set everything signed good to go. Over a month later they call asking for the car back that they couldn’t work out a deal bank lined up, payment date set everything signed good to go. Over a month later they call asking for the car back that they couldn’t work out a deal? There was already a deal set and now they want to push us into a used vehicle with over 88,000 miles, send us away with a cruddy used vehicle for the night with no gas until we can make a deal on when we don’t even want any of the used trash to begin with. If we wanted used we would’ve started with that to begin with. Told we wouldn’t need a down payment on used either but now all of a sudden once they knew we had money we need one? Right in the range we said too. The manager frank was highly ignorant about the whole situation and when we ask to speak to the boss “we can’t do that”? Won’t give us a number for him or any way to speak to him. Sounds fishy to me. The whole place seems like a huge scam in one way or another. They know our saleman screwed up as they all continued to talk trash on him about it yet he’s still there? Do yourselves a favor and don’t waste your time or fall for any of their sale gimmicks to get you in the door of xxxx. More
I purchased a brand new 2019 Kia Sorento two years ago... a month after having the car my wipers began seizing up. I complained about the issue and took my car in 4 times and the issue was never addressed. Each time, excluding the last, I was told there was no issue. Finally the issue was diagnosed as a bad wiper switch, which should have been a simple fix. The part was on back order for 3 months. February 2020 I took my car in for the repair which should have taken less than 2 hours. The tech could not figure out how to do the work and attempted to call in help from Kia of West Chester. They ended up keeping my car for 4 days! My husband had to pitch a fit just to get a rental from the dealership to hold us over, as they were seriously going to send us home in a uber and leave us without transportation. Upon my car being dropped back off, there was clear cosmetic damages done to the steering wheel and my wipers still would not work properly. We complained yet again. We recently received the paperwork stating that our specific model is a car listed in a class action lawsuit. We filed to join the suit and headed to the dealership to see what could be done as we had begun to lose hope in the safety of our vehicle. The salesperson we talked to had no knowledge of the lawsuit and basically told us nothing could be done until we experienced engine failure. We ended up going down the street and got rid of our car for a Toyota. Glad to be relieved of the headache of having to deal with an incompetent service center and terrible service within the dealership. More
Luckily I realized what a lousy, unprofessional this dealership is before getting too deep into the buying process. I inquired on a Friday about a particular type of vehicle (Stinger) and was told dealership is before getting too deep into the buying process. I inquired on a Friday about a particular type of vehicle (Stinger) and was told by some rando at the dealership that they had "three Stingers matching what you're looking for on the lot right now!" and that I should "swing by sometime this weekend or during the coming week!". I found the referenced vehicles and all three had "contact dealership for pricing" on their website. That same day I called back and requested some information to know whether it was worth my time to travel out to this dealership from Philadelphia. They were unable to give me any pricing information over the phone (requested multiple times, politely) and said they'd have someone reach out to me over the coming days to talk specifics. I get a call on Saturday by another random at the dealership who proceeds to collect my information and then put me on an extended hold while she found someone to speak to me about the cars. Note that she called me. After referenced hold, she came back on and told me "whoops there's no one here to talk about these cars, I'll have someone call you Monday." Kinda weird since you reached out to me - but fine, I'm still interested in these cars on your lot. We scheduled a phone call at 1PM on the following Monday. Monday morning comes around, and the original salesman at the dealership has the audacity to send me an email saying "we've been trying to get a hold of you" and that "whoops we actually only had one Stinger and we sold it on Saturday, but can we interest you in a Forte instead?". I asked the salesman, again politely, to hold our scheduled call later that afternoon to discuss potential options. You can probably guess where this is going - I did not get a call from this salesman as scheduled. I have no problem putting this guy on blast - Jason Cowan ruined a pretty easy sale for this dealership. Just completely unprofessional behavior and, frankly, I'm kinda glad I was showed this early on before getting too far along in the sales process. More
They surprise you with a $399 fee for VIN etching in the finance office... seriously!!! Bad business practice. Specially in 2020 it’s a sign of a shady dealership. Pressured and Browbeaten - No Thanks. Came in to take a look at a Ford Fusion, right in my price range. Had cash in hand ready to walk out the door with the keys provided it all checked out. Loved the car, ready to sign and drive. That didn't happen for a multitude of reasons. We're running the all in numbers, and the salesman informs that there was an additional $3k on top of the pricing offered - $999 for cash or trade in additional "fee". No explanation on why this is there, just had to incur it, and no way around it, apparently. Additionally, almost $2k for taxes and tags. Brought total asking price to just over $10k. I'm sorry, what? You've now gouged me and overpriced this 2013 vehicle with almost 100k miles on it. Pass. Is this fee standard anywhere else, and why are my taxes and tags objectively higher here than at any other dealership I've ever been to? Had to call my spouse and inform her of this mania, and let her know I was walking. Came back in to grab my ID. Salesman brought someone from finance over who essentially spent ten minutes browbeating and pressuring me to just "pay back the cash loan" and finance through him, even after explaining to him that it's just not how it works and that my interest rate was as good as I'd get. Finally after a "generous" deduction of $500 from the all in price, I told them I'd continue to look. Another trip outside to inform my spouse of this behavior, and I told them I was going to continue to look, I was offered a meeting "with the owner". Great, so a third person can browbeat me? Hard pass. After I got home, I was offered a deal at my max budget. How kind! I found a model two years older at another dealership, 2k less miles, for 2k less, and had an unbelievably professional and incredible experience with them. Signed the paperwork on it today and rolled it off the lot. Sorry, I'm just not going to be bullied or browbeaten into purchasing from you at a price that's just outrageously out of range for the vehicle. If this is the go to sales tactics, you may want to seriously reconsider your approach, because I just don't see how that could work with anyone ever. An extremely uncomfortable experience, unprofessional all the way around. I'll be passing on Kia of Coatesville or any other Jim Sipala related enterprise going forward. More

Quick, easy, and care after the sale I originally worked with Andrew and while he answered all of my questions, he was not willing to work towards a price that I was comfortable with. Aft I originally worked with Andrew and while he answered all of my questions, he was not willing to work towards a price that I was comfortable with. After a few days with no email contact, Laura, followed up. Laura was very helpful and willing to try make every possible scenario work for us to leave in the Kia Sorento we had been eyeing for about a week. There was minimal haggling as I believe this is something that will most likely always be included in the car buying experience. The paperwork to complete the sale was relatively painless with Austin, the financial manager, and he clearly explained everything. All said and done, my wife and I are happy with the purchase of the CPO Kia Sorento we purchased and were happy when Laura followed up to make sure we were still enjoying the car. More
