I had a Recall and Oil Change done. I came a little early. They took my car right back. They were friendly and came out to tell me about the wait time. Checked to make sure no other maintenance needed early. They took my car right back. They were friendly and came out to tell me about the wait time. Scam artists! Buyer beware!!! NEVER USE THIS DEALERSHIP! Zillions of bad reviews online! I knew they seemed shady but my current car was on its last leg and they gave me a decent trade amount. They hid $7 Zillions of bad reviews online! I knew they seemed shady but my current car was on its last leg and they gave me a decent trade amount. They hid $7k in extra costs on my new vehicle - I caught it an hour after I left the dealership. I went back and the salesman admitted to the error!! But the manager refused to correct it, and told me “get lost”. I have it all on video. Insane and I’m so angry and upset. I’m a single mom of 4 kids and I begged them to correct it bc it’s a lot of money to me. So angry with myself for trusting them. More
Placed an order for a Kia Telluride in early February 2021 (with a deposit to hold the car) and the dealership sold it to someone else a few days ago. Had to drive over one hour (during my work shift) to 2021 (with a deposit to hold the car) and the dealership sold it to someone else a few days ago. Had to drive over one hour (during my work shift) to the dealership to get an answer out of Jacob Sipala (Sales Manager) as no one had the decency to confirm this information over the phone. Jacob acted like he knew nothing about this and it was like pulling teeth to get an apology out of anyone. Dealership will ignore your calls and will forward to Jacob's/Kelly Lord's voicemail to avoid the situation and will never call you back. I wonder if I would have received my deposit back if I didn't drive down to the dealership?!? Worst Customer Service and car buying experience of my life as I would give zero starts if I could. Very fortunate to have wasted over three months of my life and need to start this process all over again with a dealership who actually care about their customers. Please do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere as this facility is very shady and full of dishonest people who don't care about their paying customers who keep the lights on.... More
We arrived at Kia of Coatesville expecting to leave with our new Kia Telluride, which we had reserved at Kia of West Chester several weeks earlier. We received a call the Kia Telluride arrived and that the our new Kia Telluride, which we had reserved at Kia of West Chester several weeks earlier. We received a call the Kia Telluride arrived and that the car had been sent to Kia of Coatesville. We meet with Malcom and were expecting to walk away with our car that we reserved after completing all the paperwork. Needless to say this did not happen. Unknown to us there was a $5,000 dealership markup on the MSR price of the car because of demand. My husband and I had waited several weeks to purchase this car and we were patient because we wanted the S at the $39,000 price along with taxes and fees and had been quoted at Kia of West Chester on the phone when we called to reserve the car several weeks earlier. There was no mention of the $5,000 dealership charge and we called multiple times to confirm that the car was reserved at the price we had been quoted. We even financed our car through Kia financing and had our credit report run expecting to pay around $39,000. Needless to say we challenged the price of the car when we were presented with financing that was upwards of $46,000. We then meet with with one of the sales managers of Kia of Coatesville, Jacob I believe his name was. He refused to honor the price that we had been promised by Kia of West Chester who we had originally reserved the car through. He also tried to undercut the value of our trade in by half that we had been quoted at another Kia dealership and refused to budge on the trade in until we told him that we would not be purchasing the car at what they were offering us. Even with agreeing on the correct trade in value of our car they refused to negotiate to an acceptable rate for the dealership fee. At this point my husband, 4 month old daughter, and myself left the dealership. Jacob proceeded to rip up the financing paperwork that had been presented to us (in front of our 4 month old) and told us "Let me know when you get your credit score hit again at another Kia dealership." Needless to say to be that unprofessional and aggressive to us and our 4 month old daughter is absurd. My husband and I work hard, we have saved for several years and with the birth of our daughter we were ready to upgrade to a better, safer car that would become our new family car for many years to come. We were very disappointed with our experience, expecting to walk away with our new car and instead dealing with the level of unprofessionalism from the sales manager. We will not be returning to Kia of Coatesville. More
My wife and I were shopping for a new car this past weekend. We were looking for a lease to put in a business name. We test drove a few different cars from different dealers. My in-laws suggested the S weekend. We were looking for a lease to put in a business name. We test drove a few different cars from different dealers. My in-laws suggested the Sorento so we decided to check it out. We test drove the hybrid model. When we got to Kia Coatesville, one of the employees was standing outside the main door smoking a cigarette with someone (non-employee). We decided to go for a test drive. We were clear that we were not ready to purchase that day because we wanted to look at pricing, and sleep on it. When we left for the drive, the salesman asked for my current keys to get a trade-in value. By the time we got back, he told us "I can't tell you why because I'm not the GM, but I can't get you a trade-in value". He told us to just "assume the high end of Blue Book". When we left, the salesman said that he was "excited to check out the monthly payments". When we asked to see them, we were told that he couldn't offer pricing because we weren't ready to buy that day. We explained that price was going to be a deciding factor in what car we went with. The response was that they were too busy that day. For reference, I counted maybe 2-3 other shoppers in the lobby and most of the salesmen just sitting at their desks or on their cel phones. Our salesman said that we could check pricing online which he did for us. He did not show us the screen but said "about $50/month". He said maybe another 50 or so with taxes, tags, etc. We asked for a print out which we were told was not possible. Instead, the salesman sent us a link that just went to the shop vehicles on the Kia website. I plugged in the same vehicle we looked at and nothing came remotely close to what he quoted. We left Kia Coatesville not even considering the vehicle because we couldn't get a price. A few moments ago I received a call from Hannah at Kia Coatesville; she wanted to know about our experience. I mentioned that we had a bad experience. She never asked why. I asked if she wanted to know why it was so bad and we were not even considering a Kia. She simply replied "sounds like you had a bad experience and I'll mark that down". There was no effort to learn why it was bad or what they could do. In the end, we purchased from another dealer and could not be happier. My in-laws are also no longer looking at any Kias because of this particular location. More
The worst car buying experience i have ever had!! As someone already said the SHADY finance manager Eddie slid the $399 glass etching in the deal without me knowing. However it was never actually comple someone already said the SHADY finance manager Eddie slid the $399 glass etching in the deal without me knowing. However it was never actually completed on my vehicle and I have been fighting for a refund since September 2020. Eddie also never included my state sales Tax into my loan so 4 months later when they finally decided to do the tag and title work (mind you my temp tag they provided only lasted 2 month) , eddie contacted me and told me i owed him $950 in sales tax!! I am also waiting for my refund for canceling the Select Term insurance plan i was told i had to purchase with the vehicle. Once i actually got the paperwork i saw it was optional and able to be cancelled. It was cancelled on 11/04/2020 and neither I or my finance company have yet seen the refund.
