How do I give zero stars? ! My family and I have leased or purchased 7 vehicles from Kia of Coatesville since 2011, so I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time. I was at le ! My family and I have leased or purchased 7 vehicles from Kia of Coatesville since 2011, so I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time. I was at lease-end on my 2019 Kia Sportage and wanted to purchase the vehicle. The owner’s son Jacob decided to add all sorts of dealer fees to the purchase price putting the price at $18,742. Jacob wanted to charge me $1,000 “restocking fee”, $450 “Government Fees”, and $422 “Proc/Doc Fees”, (plus the standard state tax and tag transfer fees). What a rip-off! When I confronted Jacob about all of these charges being added on I was basically told there would be no negotiating and I should just leave if I’m not happy – So I did! Best move I ever made. Went to Martin Kia and was treated very nicely – I was able to complete the purchase for $17,258, saving $1,500 of bogus charges that Jacob tacked on! They handled all the paperwork and completed the process in less than an hour. There was simply a $279 Admin Fee (plus the standard state tax and tag transfer fees). No hassle or haggling necessary. Thank you, Martin Kia – You have earned a new customer! They’ll be getting a 5-star rating from me. As for Kia of Coatesville - You have lost your way and the smug “take it or leave it” attitude is going to catch up with you. Jim Sipala, whom I’ve met on a few occasions, would never have treated a customer this poorly – especially someone who has been as loyal as we have been. This experience made me realize that Kia of Coatesville is not what it once was and that customer loyalty now seems to be a foreign concept to them. I was a long-time customer but you’ve lost me, my family, and everyone I know. Goodbye and Good Riddance! More
They are very courteous and attentive to your needs. They provide frequent updates while you wait and don’t try to oversell. I would highly recommend them to others. They provide frequent updates while you wait and don’t try to oversell. I would highly recommend them to others. More
visited the dealership was quoted over the phone that the vehicle would sell for MSRP (window sticker) and received a confirmation email stating vehicle would sell for MSRP this was a 2022 Kia carnival. deal vehicle would sell for MSRP (window sticker) and received a confirmation email stating vehicle would sell for MSRP this was a 2022 Kia carnival. dealership chose to mark up vehicle $5,000 above MSRP. I would not have driven an hour and a half to purchase the vehicle if I knew they were attempting to take advantage of customers. just because other dealerships are marking up vehicles does not make it right. be honest and upfront with your pricing so the customer knows what they're getting into do not tell them one thing and then show them something else.
