My husband and I went to the Kia store on a referral from a friend. Never imagined I would be leaving with a brand new car but after a lot of soul searching, and second guessing ourselves and more importantl a friend. My boyfriend bought a 2019 used Optima literally less than 2 weeks ago & ever since it’s had one problem after another. Not even a day of having it & the check engine light came on for a “misfire on cylinder 4” & that’s not something that just happens in a day, so they obviously cleared the code before selling. Huge hassle to getting that taken care of & when we went in to get that fixed, one of their employees even admitted that it was a “history code” so they DID clear it. A couple of days ago, took it to Meinike because it was having wheel problems from day 1 - the service tech said & gave us written proof that the passenger front wheel bearing was in horrible condition & the outer tire rod was bad which would be $1k in repairs (again less than 2 weeks of having it) & then to discuss with them about fixing that issue now, it turned into just them arguing back & forth basically trying to get out of warranty & saying “well we’ll have to see if we can fix that.” In the midst of all that arguing, the service tech Sean said he’d schedule an appointment for Thursday at 10:30. Get there Thursday at 10:30 & supposedly no appointment for it. They “worked us in” & then proceeded to never contact us until we had to CALL THEM an hour before they closed to get an answer and/or even his car back. Their answer was that nothing was wrong with the car & they heard nothing but also didn’t even bother taking it up to highway speeds & properly looking it over. You have to be deaf to not hear ANYTHING. It’s soooo loud & why would another certified automotive place lie about something being wrong?? Their GM Scott’s answer to that was “well I mean I wouldn’t take a car to Meinike” & their tech on the phone when we called & even Scott both said “well what are we gonna do it’s 5:30?” Like you tell me?? You had the car all day & didn’t even contact me?? And we’re not basing an important problem with the car that they diagnosed & needs to be fixed based off opinions on another automotive shop because you don’t like them. Either way, they diagnosed it & it needs to be taken care of by KIA. AGAIN, had the car exactly 2 weeks 6/27 & wheel bearing/tire rod issues don’t happen within that time frame & it’s a 2019. So shows the integrity of their cars & clearly their teams. If this is how they sell their used Kia’s then I would go somewhere else in an INSTANT. This has been the worst experience ever at a dealership. I’ve always heard such bad things about Kia Clarksville but never thought it’d be us in this situation for some silly reason. Whether it was used or not, clearly they’re cool with selling it in bad condition as long as it’s cheap for them, even though it’s a driving advertisement! Like why is a 2019 having this many issues?? You should want to sell it in good condition basically saying even when used, they’re still great cars but CLEARLY not. More

this dealership kept my car for over four months and refuse to make it right other than waiving a $100 deductible. What’s even crazier is that they only offered to waive that deductible for a good google review! It wasn’t even for the mess that was created. I have been paying full coverage insurance, rentals, and car payments as my car just SAT THERE!!! My warranty was not contacted until Dec. 20th, that means my car sat there for over 2 months. It wasn’t because there wasn’t a diagnostic, it was because multiple balls were dropped and now it’s being swept under the rug. An hour and half after I dropped my car off there they called me with a $13,000 diagnostic estimate for a hydrolocked engine that’s now since been recanted and they are acting like they never said or diagnosed it with that. If it was possible to give zero stars I would. I think one star is being far too generous. We looked at a car advertised for $14,000. The car had 56,000 miles on it. They said the car still needed to be serviced and the bodywork needed to be done because it was missing a piece from the back bumper. The air conditioner also did not work. They said once the car was completely finished we could come and get the car. So they ran our credit and made us leave a deposit. He said service was going to fix everything wrong with the car, the brakes, the air conditioning, and clean the car up. A week later they told us that the car was in such bad shape that they were not going to fix it and it needed over $2000 worth of repair. But we could still have the car for $14,000. We would just have to fix everything and clean it up ourselves. We did not give them permission to run our credit at first. They told us we were only leaving $100 deposit to hold the car while it was being serviced. We were lied to and mislead on every single level possible. Worst customer service in my life ! Got a car from them now many issues many repairs needed soon as I got it. Car wouldn’t start days later Needed a battery replacement new brakes and rotors. Go in for the tuneup and to get fixed left with check engine light on , loud grinding noise and a oil leak with no oil in car ! They won’t help you , don’t call back put on hold everytime and say it’s my problem More
