Kia On The Blvd

Poor Customer Care I purchased a used Nissan which had a few problems that the Kia service department could not figure out. I was told by my salesman Jordon, that if I p I purchased a used Nissan which had a few problems that the Kia service department could not figure out. I was told by my salesman Jordon, that if I purchased the vehicle and had the problem looked at by my mechanic that I could bring it back and Kia would fix it. Needless to say the problems were actually a few different things regarding the ABS system , unsafe driving problems and problems with the tires. All of these problems should have been addressed by the Kia mechanics who worked on the vehicle and I had to put out of pocket almost $1,700.00 after purchasing this used vehicle in order to make it safe to drive. When I brought this to the attention the General Manager, Bob Benedetti, I was told by my sales person that he did not have time to talk to me and that I purchased the vehicle "As Is" . After insisting that he speak to me, he approached me in a rude manner, did not even introduce himself or extend his hand and basically told me he was too busy for me and that I could come back at a more convenient time for him to discuss the matter. I had every intention on coming back, then decided that this man was not someone that I choose to try and reason with. If this is how the Kia dealership treats it's customers, I will never do business or recommend their dealership to anyone. The qualified mechanic that I had look at the vehicle informed me that the problem with the vehicle was most likely caused by the Kia service member who was working on the vehicle and did not know how to service the ABS system on a Nissan vehicle and in fact broke two of the four ABS sensors. This vehicle also had tires on it that were snow tires and should not have been on this vehicle at all. This vehicle was being purchased as a Christmas gift to my wife and my biggest concern was that the vehicle was safe to drive. I am guessing the sale was more important that customer safety and care? Somehow Kia passed this for state inspection, when in fact it should of failed due to the problems which I had to pay for to make this vehicle safe. I feel Kia should reimburse me for most or a portion of the amount that I had to spent after one week of buying this vehicle. I will be contacting the KIA corporate representative and possible submitting my complaint to the "Better Business Bureau"! Thank you KIA for your customer care!! More

Patient and Accomidating I'm a first time buyer and was looking at a used car, choosing to go for a Mazda 3. Ironically it was in a Kia dealership, so I decided to visit about I'm a first time buyer and was looking at a used car, choosing to go for a Mazda 3. Ironically it was in a Kia dealership, so I decided to visit about the car. I had an idea on the budget I could work with for down payment and monthly cost I can pay for a car, making this known to my agent Victor when I came in. We test drove the car, was pretty satisfied with it, despite some very minor problems that could be overlooked like one side window needs the driver to roll it back up. Because it's mainly a Kia dealership they were obviously trying to convince me to get a new Kia and gave some quotes on cost. However the insurance cost we were quoted that first day was higher than what I would've been paying every month for the car. The change from the car, even though the reps were offering me car payments that were under, $200 a month I was initially interested in also daunted me, causing me to rethink my budget. I left that first day, mostly to find a better insurance deal. A few days later Victor called and said he came up with a way for me to get my initial car and have found a way to get the insurance down much lower than it was before, and ironically I also got a much better quote on insurance. So we met up again and managed to work my car payments down way lower than I expected. We also got the car a quick check out by a family mechanic and it was in very good condition. In the end we got a very good deal on payments, warranty and I left with a pretty good car. It was very satisfying when we both figured out a way to get the car and at a cost that gave me a lot of room to save for things that might crop up. It was a heck of a task but it was worth it. More

Much appreciated compassion at Kia on the Boulevard I went in for service maintenance on my 2013 Forte only to find out that it was unsafe to drive and I was devastated. What started out to be a routin I went in for service maintenance on my 2013 Forte only to find out that it was unsafe to drive and I was devastated.
