scams worst service department ive ever used.. wife brought in a 12 optima sx with acceleration issues for diagnosis...the advisor told her that the turbo worst service department ive ever used.. wife brought in a 12 optima sx with acceleration issues for diagnosis...the advisor told her that the turbo 2.0t was shot and proceeded to recommend replacing it for roughly $3500...they told her it was not drivable and that she should trade it in..they offered $1000 trade in on it because it needed so much work...she didnt take the trade in offer and ended up buying a used buick encore there which was a mistake...i brought the kia elsewhere to fix it..and turns out the turbo is fine and it only needed a $300 dollar waste gate actuator...i called and spoke to both advisor and the service manager and they claim it was just a guess and a preliminary diagnosis..like really???worst dealer and customer service ever.anything for a sale i guess..including lieing More
bought a new Kia in 2015! 1/21/17 had to have a new engine put in! Now the engine went again and now they might replace it and it is still under warranty because I can not give them Proof that the oil engine put in! Now the engine went again and now they might replace it and it is still under warranty because I can not give them Proof that the oil was changed every 3000 miles! We change it ourselves! They took a video of it and locked the motor up now!! I would not ever go there again to buy a vehicle. Their assistant manager in the service department is the most rudest person ever!!!!!! The car has 87,000 miles on! No way this should had happened! More

Yesterday I received pictures and talked several times on the phone about the condition of the vehicle. I was told "everything" works, no problems. I asked about the tires, 4 wheel drive, windows, heat and a/c, etc. "YES" everything works. Today when we arrive the check engine light is on, I ask about that and get told "it has a new engine, that is normal from what I was told!" How many miles are on the new engine-" I DON"T know". The a/c doesn't work. Needles to say I was scammed into this nightmare. The sales associate was caught with deception when the manager came over and he admitted yesterday that he told me all was good, but today it was not. I got all my money back! Would not recommend this place More

For the last 4 months we have called trying to get reimbursement for tire plugged and it has been so frustrating we will NOT be buying anything more from this dealership. Service appointment gone bad. I have been using the service department for a number of occasions - mostly my visits have been on the positive side of customer experience. However, I have been using the service department for a number of occasions - mostly my visits have been on the positive side of customer experience. However, my scheduled appointment yesterday was a total waste of my time. Only positive thing is that Kia of Duluth did not charge me for anything - since the technicians clearly did not do anything to solve the problem that was described and explained few days earlier while scheduling the appointment. I called to confirm my appointment - had a light issue that was addressed during my previous visit, explained it to the person on duty and drove my car in for the scheduled time slot. After an hour with no communication or notice I went and asked how much longer and what is wrong with the headlight I was told that it was (probably) a wiring problem and would I like to schedule a new appointment. No. That is not how you treat your returning customers who have actually made an appointment to get the problem solved and given you the specs forehand. And are willing to pay to get the problem fixed! Thank you for the time and lack of effort - I am sure there are repair shops in town who a capable of taking notes and be prepared for the maintenance. More
Service Department Nightmare Took my Buick in to the service center last week for a 100k mile inspection (flush some fluids, change some filters, and INSPECT the condition). The next day, after about 20 miles or so, my entire exhaust system fell off the bottom of the car. I expected that they would apologize and fix it. Instead they shirked any responsibility and insisted that they were not at fault. I asked them what the point of an inspection is if they don't see that my muffler is hanging by a thread. They replied, "well it's rusty under there." I was told that they were going to bring it over to a local muffler and brake place and that they would call me soon. Three hours later (after spending a half hour on hold with Kia) I called the muffler place. No one from Kia had called; they did not have my vehicle. I went down to Kia myself, loaded my exhaust system into the car (the tailpipe sticking out the passenger window), and dropped it off where they had been too busy to take it themselves. Awful service. More
