bought a new Kia in 2015! 1/21/17 had to have a new engine put in! Now the engine went again and now they might replace it and it is still under warranty because I can not give them Proof that the oil engine put in! Now the engine went again and now they might replace it and it is still under warranty because I can not give them Proof that the oil was changed every 3000 miles! We change it ourselves! They took a video of it and locked the motor up now!! I would not ever go there again to buy a vehicle. Their assistant manager in the service department is the most rudest person ever!!!!!! The car has 87,000 miles on! No way this should had happened! More

Yesterday I received pictures and talked several times on the phone about the condition of the vehicle. I was told "everything" works, no problems. I asked about the tires, 4 wheel drive, windows, heat and a/c, etc. "YES" everything works. Today when we arrive the check engine light is on, I ask about that and get told "it has a new engine, that is normal from what I was told!" How many miles are on the new engine-" I DON"T know". The a/c doesn't work. Needles to say I was scammed into this nightmare. The sales associate was caught with deception when the manager came over and he admitted yesterday that he told me all was good, but today it was not. I got all my money back! Would not recommend this place More

Road Hazard Nitemare SO unhappy with my X favorite dealership. 8 new vehicles over the last 10 years and it ends over road hazard under -$20 Service Department serviceman SO unhappy with my X favorite dealership. 8 new vehicles over the last 10 years and it ends over road hazard under -$20 Service Department serviceman did not even know Kia sold the road hazard warranty more training perhaps? For the last 4 months we have called trying to get reimbursement for tire plugged and it has been so frustrating we will NOT be buying anything more from this dealership. Service appointment gone bad. I have been using the service department for a number of occasions - mostly my visits have been on the positive side of customer experience. However, I have been using the service department for a number of occasions - mostly my visits have been on the positive side of customer experience. However, my scheduled appointment yesterday was a total waste of my time. Only positive thing is that Kia of Duluth did not charge me for anything - since the technicians clearly did not do anything to solve the problem that was described and explained few days earlier while scheduling the appointment. I called to confirm my appointment - had a light issue that was addressed during my previous visit, explained it to the person on duty and drove my car in for the scheduled time slot. After an hour with no communication or notice I went and asked how much longer and what is wrong with the headlight I was told that it was (probably) a wiring problem and would I like to schedule a new appointment. No. That is not how you treat your returning customers who have actually made an appointment to get the problem solved and given you the specs forehand. And are willing to pay to get the problem fixed! Thank you for the time and lack of effort - I am sure there are repair shops in town who a capable of taking notes and be prepared for the maintenance. More
Service Department Nightmare Took my Buick in to the service center last week for a 100k mile inspection (flush some fluids, change some filters, and INSPECT the condition). The next day, after about 20 miles or so, my entire exhaust system fell off the bottom of the car. I expected that they would apologize and fix it. Instead they shirked any responsibility and insisted that they were not at fault. I asked them what the point of an inspection is if they don't see that my muffler is hanging by a thread. They replied, "well it's rusty under there." I was told that they were going to bring it over to a local muffler and brake place and that they would call me soon. Three hours later (after spending a half hour on hold with Kia) I called the muffler place. No one from Kia had called; they did not have my vehicle. I went down to Kia myself, loaded my exhaust system into the car (the tailpipe sticking out the passenger window), and dropped it off where they had been too busy to take it themselves. Awful service. More

Horrendous customer care from the Service Dept Never again will I purchase a car or service a car at Kia of Duluth. The service managers NEVER make good on their failed fixes. On top of an oil change that leaked all over my garage floor due to the oil plug popping lose within hours... Kia also charged me $1200 to replace the crank sensor and timing belt when my car would randomly not start. The day after they said it was fixed it again didn't start. Kia took it back and had it for 7 weeks, no loaner car provided to me, and still couldn't find the problem. They adjusted the air intake value and told me it was all fixed. Again days after getting it back it still randomly wouldn't start. I again told them its still happening and their response was "why don't I just buy a new car". They were no longer going to try and fix it. I couldn't afford to spend more money so I suffered for 6 months only driving the car when I could afford to be stranded for 20-30 minutes before it would start again. Eventually another shop convinced me to let them look at it and within 2 hours they diagnosed the problem and replace the temperature sensor. I had no problems for 2 years after that. Now 2 years later my car stalled out on the freeway and the shop that towed it ran the diagnostic and said its the crank sensor. I called the Kia service manager to ask if they will fix this since the part shouldn't last just 2 years and his first response without seeing the vehicle is that my electrical system may be causing this part to wear out. His second response is once again to buy a new car. Wow really. The car has only 95,000 miles. I tried to be understanding the first time around with their failed fixes since the other shop solved the issue, but having this happen again and Kia not even trying to do the right thing is absolutely terrible. I will no longer be kind to their failures or defend them when everyone told me I should have taken this farther to get by money back. I'm now telling everyone who is thinking of buy or fixing a car to NEVER EVER go to KIA Duluth. All these reviews seem to say the same thing yet no one at Kia has fixed the issues of Service or stands by the customers who purchased vehicles from them. Mine was purchased brand new from them but never again. Sure hope the owner or better business bureau does something to correct this because charging someone to fix something that never is fixed is a crime! More
