The knock sensor went on my 2019 sportage. I’ve maintained the vehicle through the dealership since I purchased. They’ve had it for a MONTH and it’s still not fixed!! One MONTH!! It’s about a $200 part and around $300 to have installed and it’s a part covered by my warranty! I’ve only heard from the service department twice, both times to tell me they’re still going round and round with warranty. They were supposed to call me 2 weeks ago regarding a loaner car, never received a call back. I would have to say do not believe the hype about the “great Kia warranty.” More
I've had my Carnival for 6 months and they recommended an oil change even though I only have 3900 miles on it. Took it in and was told it would be 45 to 60 minutes. Service rep went through waiting room aro oil change even though I only have 3900 miles on it. Took it in and was told it would be 45 to 60 minutes. Service rep went through waiting room around 45 minutes in and said they were wrapping it up. After another 30 minutes, I was tired of waiting and went to service desk. It was done, but they didn't have the paperwork. Finally found it and thankfully, the service rep went out to bring my vehicle out for me. It was blocked in so spent another 10 minutes waiting to have it out. Got in and the tire pressure was showing as 42 - 44 psi on all 4 tires. At my next stop, I check the tag on door frame and it clearly states 37 psi cold weather temp. I called back to the service department on my way out of town (live 30 miles away) and asked them why the tire pressure was so high. Response was "they must have over inflated them" (no kidding) Told me I could bring it back and they would make it right! Told them I could do that myself and not have to wait forever to get it done! Not impressed at all!!! More

I could write a 20 page review on the nightmare I’ve gone through with them. Bottom line is they’re the only dealership within hundreds of miles and if something goes majorly haywire with your car, you will pay for it dearly and find out why. Stick Hyundai instead they’re just as affordable and the same company. And Kolar up the hill blows this place out of the water. More
Brought in our Kia Sorento for an oil change. They came back and showed us a completely filthy engine air filter. They said we needed a new one for sure. We informed them we recently changed it. They came back and showed us a completely filthy engine air filter. They said we needed a new one for sure. We informed them we recently changed it. They looked in their records and confirmed it had been done 9 months ago and only 6,000 miles had been put on since then. There is no possible way they changed it out but they sure as heck charged us for it. DO NOT GO HERE. SCAM More

Went to test drive a telluride. Loved the vehicle and when we sat down to talk about prices I asked why the dealer document fee changed from one sheet to the other. The sales manage Loved the vehicle and when we sat down to talk about prices I asked why the dealer document fee changed from one sheet to the other. The sales manager Gordon then got upset and claimed it was a typo. When I asked about not getting a dealer add-on, they told me they wouldn’t take a deposit from me because I wasn’t commited to the vehicle. Extremely rude and unprofessional experience with the sales manager Gordon and the finance manager Jon. The only good thing about the whole experience was dealing with our salesperson Danielle. She was very professional and good to work with, which we appreciated. More
I went in to Kia service center (on a Friday) to have a few recalls resolved for my vehicle. I brought my vehicle in and dropped it off. Later in the day, I was called to come back to pick it up and I noti few recalls resolved for my vehicle. I brought my vehicle in and dropped it off. Later in the day, I was called to come back to pick it up and I noticed my weather tech floor mats were dirty/smeared but didn't think too much of it. (set up an appt for Tie Rods) I then went home and the next day went to get back into my vehicle, and slipped while getting into my vehicle, and realized that my floor mats were smeared in grease. Much worse than I originally thought. So much so that I was actually tracking it out of my vehicle on my shoes. It was both my driver side and passenger side mats. I then looked up--one of my recalls was headliner plates (no idea what that actually was) and realized I had black grease smears and fingerprints all over the ceiling of my cream colored car. It was very noticeable. I called the dealership and was informed to speak with the manager in the service center, named Andy. I called and left a voicemail and never received a call back (to this day yet). I then called the front desk of the service center and explained that I'd like them to correct the issue and clean the grease up. I went back in to the service center (the next Tuesday) and informed them I was there to have my ceiling and floor mats/back carpet shampooed and cleaned of grease. I was going to wait for my vehicle this time and so after 2/3 hours my car was finally done. They redid the recalls I just had done that Friday and cleaned my dashboard but didn't touch my ceiling or my floor mats/carpet at all! I called back since I needed to come in for my Tie Rods to be replaced to have them clean the ceiling and floor mats this time. I went in for my appt a few weeks later on a Wed and dropped my car off at 8:40 AM. Around Noon I text/called to inquire about my car and they informed me they were working on another RECALL!! For a third time, I was incredibly upset at this point and called them directly. They informed me that the last recall hadn't been complete and a part was put on order to fix, but they never informed me of this at the time. They then told me that it was going to take another 2 hours to complete to finish that and to clean what I originally needed done. So around 3 PM I get a text asking me if I wanted to have my car aligned. (front end work, Tie rods replaced) I said yes, I told them they needed to align my vehicle when I dropped it off just that morning. I get a message that my vehicle is finally done at this point, I go to pick it up and lo and behold. My driver's seat is a complete grease and water stain. They actually walked me out to my vehicle to inform me that this happened and they wanted to let me know it happened. That I needed to come in for a 4th appt to get my now dirty seats cleaned and shampooed on them. I at this point am speechless and was under the impression they would call me to set this appt up to fix their error. Wrong, two full business days later.. I haven't heard anything from them. To make matters worse, my hood was slammed down and shut on a piece from my battery and it dented the inside of my hood. To say my experience with Kia service center has been terrible is an understatement. No communication, they allowed grease to just sit on my cream interior for weeks and the ceiling is still dingy/dirty, and now my seats look terrible! I'm actually a little scared and concerned that my Tie rods may have issues and wish I would have never have gone back in at all. More
I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE AND HAD TO HAVE A NEW ENGINE PUT IN WITHIN 3 MONTHS AND HAD TO FIGHT WITH THEM TO DO IT KNOWING FULL WELL I DROVE OFF THE LOT WITH A JUNK VEICHLE. NOW IT HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP LAST WEEK WITHIN 3 MONTHS AND HAD TO FIGHT WITH THEM TO DO IT KNOWING FULL WELL I DROVE OFF THE LOT WITH A JUNK VEICHLE. NOW IT HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP LAST WEEK AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE BATTERY AND I DISAGREED WITH THEM THAT IT WANS'T THE BATTERY THEY WERE INSISTANT THAT IT WAS SO PUT MONEY OUT FOR THAT. THEN NOT EVEN 24 HOURS LATER IT WAS BACK IN FOR THE SAME ISSUE. THEY THEN PROCEEDED TO CALL AND SAY IT WAS THE STARTER AND IT WOULD BE $600 AND WHEN I SAID NOT TO FIX IT (DIDN'T NEED TO EXPLAIN THAT I DON'T HAVE MONEY JUST LAYING AROUND SINCE I PAID FOR A BATTERY THAT DIDN'T NEED TO BE REPLACED) SHE THEN SAID THAT IF I DON'T GET IT FIXED THERE I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE LOANER. WHY WOULD I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE LOANER WHEN IT WAS THEIR FAULT I NEEDED TO BRING IT BACK NOT EVEN 24 HOURS LATER? I CALLED BACK TO GET THE BREAKDOWN OF THE PRICE FOR THE STARTER ITSELF AND THE LABOR AND THEY CAME BACK WITH A DIFFERENT AMOUNT NOW OF AROUND $900-$1000. SO WHEN I ASKED WHAT HAPPENED TO THE TOTAL OF $600 SHE QUOTED ME NOT EVEN AN HOUR AGO HE SAID IT WAS JUST FOR PART. I REITTEREATED THAT SHE SAID IT WAS $600 TOTAL. I THEN ASKED FOR A MANAGER TO CALL ME. More

I am so disappointed in our latest service. 1 year ago I brought my 2016 Sorento in because the sunroof was not closing. There is a service bulletin out for a known issue on the tilt levers. I 1 year ago I brought my 2016 Sorento in because the sunroof was not closing. There is a service bulletin out for a known issue on the tilt levers. I had that repaired for $225. A few days later the sunroof had trouble closing to the point I had to manually use all my strength to get it closed. The issue was found to be that the wrong lube was used, even though in the service bulletin it says specifically which one to use. Fast forward to almost a year later I followed up on this because I had not heard anything about the lube being ordered or what the status of this was. I found the part number and the parts guy had it in stock. I made an appt to get the tracks re-greased with the correct lube. I was under the assumption this service would be little to to no cost because it was Kia's mistake for not reading how to perform this service correctly. I pick my car up and they tried charging me $400. $200 for this bottle of grease that services 30 cars and a discounted 1 hour of labor at $170/hr. I was apparently getting a deal from a 4 hour job. I stood across from the manager Andy for 45 minutes silently while he waited for the parts manager to look up the cost of this grease. I found it online from $60-100 and thought their pricing was ridiculous. This manager had TERRIBLE customer service and had no idea how to do anything himself. His biggest concern was that this grease was just ordered for my vehicle and that it would sit on the shelf for the next 20 years. Also he undervalued my car because it was a 2016 and not something newer. After an hour of waiting there the pricing was figured out and I paid $6 for the grease. The manager Andy didn't apologize at the end and just disappeared. When I left with my car I tried to open the sunroof and it struggled to open and I again had to manually close it!! I drove back to the dealership and of course the service center was locked up. I vented to the receptionist Tom, who was polite and he took a message. I never did hear back. I called again the next day to talk to the service manager and got a call back from Jaidyn saying they would need to go through a diagnostic at $170/hr. Kia has taken apart my sunroof 2x now and the problem has never been fixed. On my paperwork they stated they greased the tracks and it was working "normally". This dealership cannot be trusted with the service they recommend or claim to fix. Their communication is horrible and they are way overpriced for their poor quality efforts. More
