We came to Kia of Chattanooga somewhat overly cautious and realistic. We were greeted by John Woodall who assured us he could find us what we needed in the price range we were settling for. He was never pushy, had answers to our questions, made sure we had space and time to discuss our options in a personal manner, and provided great customer care. After browsing the selections, test driving a couple, and discussing options with Clyde Dempsey, we finally settled on a 2012 Kia Soul. We have had the vehicle for one day and can honestly say we love it. My family loves it, our neighbors love it, and we have had several compliments on it from strangers! I have dreaded buying a vehicle from dealerships simply because of the stereotypes that follow suit, but John and Clyde did everything in their power to be out-right, honest, genuine, and committed to helping us with our situation. Because of them, we got the reliable car we wanted, in the price range we needed, with a great warranty. My husband and I are incredibly fortunate, and know we owe our satisfaction to John and Clyde. We will definitely be recommending Kia of Chattanooga to our friends and family, and will continue doing business with them! More

I will never buy another vehicle there nor would I ever recommend anyone to go there. Here's a tip for you...customer service doesn't stop when the signature goes on the paper. You have repeatedly lied, ignored me and my complaints, and been rude and inappropriate. This last lie cost me 2hrs wages and $10 in gas. I guess my next phone call is to the BBB. I'm officially over it! I don't often get this mad anymore. Congratulations! You have exceeded the limitations of my medication. More

The atmosphere in the dealership was so upbeat. All of the salespeople were interacting with each other in such a positive way. There was no hassle with the price. We were e-mailed by Jeff Lynch who gave us a reasonable quote. We called for an appointment and were met at the door by Jason Lawson. Excellent salesman. NO HASSLE NO FUSS! We signed with Clyde Dempsey, a true professional. Charlie Durham sets the tone! Very visible, very friendly, and is an Aries. Ive bought 2 cars from this dealership and I will not be back. On December 6, 2013 I bought a used 2013 Kia Optima. It was late and didnt really get a good look at the exterior of the car, but heck, it wa back. On December 6, 2013 I bought a used 2013 Kia Optima. It was late and didnt really get a good look at the exterior of the car, but heck, it was still basically new. Within a few days I noticed fish eyes in the rocker panel paint. Kia still owed me a second key so when I went to pick it up I had the Service Manager look at the paint which I thought would be covered under the warranty. Service Manager informed me there was nothing he could do, because someone else had painted the car. I got with Hank and informed him and showed him what my problem was. He took me to a Sales Manager to see what could be done. He explained the situation to him. I explained to the Sales Manager Tthat the Service Manager said it had been painted and it was not covered under the warranty. I next asked him if the car had been wrecked? He said he didnt know. I then asked if I could have a copy of the car fax. He printed off one, looked over it then handed it to me and said "The car fax says nothing about it being wrecked". I asked how could we find out. He stated that he didnt know. I asked if there was anything he could do about it. He looked at me dead pan and said "What do you want, Money? Thats what everybody wants" I said no, I just want what I paid for. He next said "Thats the chance we take when we buy a used car". I said a $25,000 dollar used car. Then he said would you be willing to pay for half of it. I said I guess I have no choice. I next looked at Hank and asked him if the car was a certified used car. Hank said he didnt think so. The Sales Manager then sent Hank out to take pictures then informed me that the paint guy would be around in a week or two and he would show him the photos. Today is April 2, 2014 and I havent heard a word from them. But I guess he was right, its a chance we take for buying a used car. Another thing I want to point out is that I never recieved a customer survey for buying a car from them as I always had when buying a car in Chattanooga. As God is my witness, Hank was standing right next to me when the conversation occured. I would also like to point out that the car fax he gave states on 10/31/2013 14,676 Offered for sale as a Kia Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle. I still have the car fax that indicates it. I would like to point out that Hank done a great job and was completely professional making the sale. I have no issues with him. More
I have a 2005 Kia Optima, which I love, by the way! This is the second time that the remote buttons stopped working, after I changed the car battery.You fixed it last time, but it was under warranty. I went ahead, and replaced the batteries, in both remotes, and that is not the problem! I found that Kia has to reprogram, and only you can do it! Reserch online says, that most dealers will do it for free, but you want a minimum of $50.00, for 2 minutes work! So of course I said forget it, My wife and I was in the new car market, so guess what, last week we got a new Ford, instead of the kia, that I wanted! It looks like I am going to need another car also, so you lost two sales, for something that wouldnt have cost you a dime! STUPID! STUPID! STUPID! Steven Amos 304-5945 More
