I took my Telluride in for a 15,000 service which I was told would be $339. I told them I would wait for the service to be completed. Three hours later, I discovered my car service had been completed almos told would be $339. I told them I would wait for the service to be completed. Three hours later, I discovered my car service had been completed almost an hour earlier and my service guy forgot I was in the waiting room. Then I go to pay and my service cost was $482 with no extra work done other than the 15,000 service. To top it off, they wanted to charge me 3% fee if I used a credit card. I will not be back and I advise everyone else to avoid this place if at all possible. I would give them a zero if possible. More
On 12/6/23, I was offered a refund by Kia through a comment on the BBB website for poor service. I called the following day and was told it would be returned to me within a week. When I called to speak to someone about it yesterday, the service manager was "out sick" for the day, so I had to leave a voicemail. I called back today and didn't give my name so he couldn't avoid me. When the service manager got on the phone, his whole attitude changed. All I wanted to know was how long it would take to get my refund. He kept talking over me and refused to answer my question. He said he got my voicemail yesterday and talked to accounting who said it has been sent. I told him that I still do not have the money and asked who I needed to speak to in accounting. He told me I wasn't speaking to anyone in accounting. This makes me think that he didn't actually give me a refund. I don't think everyone in the service department is a crook, but this particular service department and dealership are awful. I do not recommend buying from them. I was so impressed with Mike Kost. He was very intuitive as far as to what I was looking for on my car shopping day. I have been going back and forth about submitting a review about this location. My first issue was my engine knocking and my car not accelerating. I took it in to get tested. Next was my oil leak issue! I had been calling for months to get all of my recalls fixed. Finally after several months of calling someone in the service center answered the phone. I explained what I needed and that I have left several vm. This guy had the nerve to basically call me a liar. He said that they call all of the customers back! I said that he was lying!!! I asked to set up an appointment for service and was told they don't have any appointments available for the next few months! I promise the very next day on July 18th my Kia was stolen due to the recall on the anti theft software. My 2019 Kia Optima was STOLEN!!!!!!!! I have full coverage and have to have over $11,326.43 worth of body work done! I went back to the kia service center to update them. I am not sure why the men in the service center are so rude and dismissive. I felt like i was being treated like a criminal! The total lack of empathy and compassion that this place has is sickening. I can almost guarantee that once my car comes into the service center they will try to con me out of more money!!!! They offered me no assistance whatsoever!!!! I guess my money or business holds no value here! Every minority person isn't ghetto or uneducated!!! But yet they treated me like stray dog! But wait, even stray dogs get treated better than I did! This dealer is the absolute worse. No one should ever shop or buy from this dealer. Chattanooga and cleveland are from the same owner. Tried to deal with them over and over and they wouldn't care. We went to a different kia (Cookeville) and they took care of us. If you really want a kia don't go to kia in chattanooga or Cleveland. My Kia Sorento was taken to the service department due to vibration in the front left. After assessment I received a call stating that the rear end was no good and causing the front left to slip. The vehicle vibration in the front left. After assessment I received a call stating that the rear end was no good and causing the front left to slip. The vehicle has 73,000 miles. The cost of this replacement would be $3100 and 2 weeks to get. I had them put it back together and after labor and an oil change I owed close to $400. I drove the car another week and took it to my regular mechanic. 3 hours later my mechanic calls to report that it was in fact the front left drive axle (I questioned Kia if that could be the issue, as I have some knowledge of vehicle repair) and the cost would be $376!!! There is no way the diagnosis from KIA was based on evidence. The only reason I took the car tho the KIA dealership was to see if the problem may be covered under a recall or if warranty coverage was applicable. If they do a small percentage of people this way they are making a mint. Dealers are always higher on service and repairs and I knew that up front. I did not expect to be taken advantage of for the tune of $3,000! More
