I was looking to purchase car on January 20th and was ve My experience with Mall of Georgia has been one of extreme disappointment with their ethics. I was looking to purchase car on January 20th and was very emphatic that I was paying in cash. A friend and I stopped by to test drive a 2014 Kia Cadenza that I had previously seen. Our salesperson was James. The vehicle he claimed was certified. Of course during the test drive he promised they could work on price. When we got back to the dealership he talked to his manager and came back with, “I know this will sound like a typical used car story but we have had 3 people call in about this vehicle including one from Alabama who is driving here Monday to see it.” Because of all of this he said they had no wiggle room with price so my friend and I started to leave and he and a manager followed us telling us again how they had 3 interested parties and really had no wiggle room. I told them that was great but their price was beyond what I wanted to pay. Then the manager offered to meet me halfway and I agreed at a price of $18,500. They had me start the paperwork and even told me how they were giving me 2 years of oil changes free. When we got to the finance office, all of a sudden the car was not certified and had no warranty. The finance person, Natalie Watson, began trying to sell me a warranty telling me how likely something was to go wrong with the car within the next year. This left me with a sour taste specially because with the warranty she was pushing the car would have been over $21,000. I was adamant that was more than I wanted to spend. She said she would talk with a manager to see what they could do. She came back said they couldn’t do anything and the deal was done. We left and nobody even spoke to us as we left. Then on Monday, January 23rd, I get an alert from Equifax that Kia Mall of Georgia ran my credit report. I never authorized that. The only paperwork I filled with my social security number was the one for the Patriot Act (I filled the same paperwork at the dealership I ultimately purchased the car from and no credit hit). I contacted Kia Mall of Georgia asking why my credit had been run without authorization. Today, I got a phone call from their General Manager, Chad Sutherland who claimed I filled out a credit application and it is their policy to run a person’s credit report no matter if the person is paying cash or already has financing. At no point was I told they would run my credit nor did I ever authorize it. More

From the moment I called to inquire about the Sorento to walking out with my new vehicle the customer service far surpassed what I was hoping for. When I called I spoke with Kathleen at the front desk who was so precious and sweet. She left a great first impression! Then I spoke with James who was my salesman. He was very helpful and patient even when I told him I needed a little time to think about things. He wasn't pushy at all, just very patient. It was a completely different experience I had from a few days prior with a different dealership. I was extremely hesitant and cautious because it was the first I was purchasing a vehicle by myself. But the process went so smooth that it made it enjoyable. Thankful for each person who had a hand in the process of me buying my first vehicle by myself. More

My wife called and was Blessed to get Marco Neal as my car sales person. Marco was exceptional, very patient, kind and responsive. From the first call to the time we had the van delivered to my home in Ft Lauderderdale. It was a positive experience from Marco, Jeff Hacker his boss, to Jennifer the title agent. Maybe I should say it was a "WOW" experience. Not what I expected from a Auto Dealer. I hope they keep up this kind of service, way to go. More
