Advertising one price and then verbally giving you another. I found a car I was interested in buying online and since the price was listed on their web page I contacted my bank to get pre-approval for another. I found a car I was interested in buying online and since the price was listed on their web page I contacted my bank to get pre-approval for the amount. I went to go see the car and upon arriving I was greeted by a salesman. The salesman then advised there was a $7,000 mark-up due to the availability of the cars. Understandable with everything going on. My issue is that they are misleading people with their false advertising. Has I known the price they were truly seeking for the car I would not have had my credit ran nor wasted my time to go see it. It is not good business to draw people in under false pretense and im pretty sure it's also against the law. More

I contacted this dealership via internet inquiry in regards to a 2022 Kia K5 GT that they had gotten an allocation from that was coming to their lot. I chose to contact this dealership (even though the regards to a 2022 Kia K5 GT that they had gotten an allocation from that was coming to their lot. I chose to contact this dealership (even though they were 4 hours plus a time zone change) because they were the closest dealership with this specific trim (it is harder to find but not impossible). I was told they were selling it for $45 plus tax, title, and fees. I asked what the AMV (adjusted market value) the dealership was charging being that MSP says $37,145 (which would be over $7800 AMV). The salesperson told me there is a premium market adjustment over MSRP of roughly $8 plus tax, title, and fees. To that I told them that I would wait for an available one around here, that the AMV was lower around my area and the AMV out in their area was more than I was willing to drive 4 hours for and pay additional. I thanked them for their time. They said "you're welcome. It is the only available K5 GT in the country at this time. Best of luck on your search!" It wasn't. Further more than that, I found one 2 or 3 days later from a dealership 1 hour from them that had 4 GTs get allocated to them, 2 of those fit what I was looking for with the GT1 package. I drove there, test drove one of the ones without the GT1 package since those weren't in yet, and purchased one of the ones with the GT1 package and they're going to bring it to my home (no additional cost) all 8 days later. I was then contacted today by the same salesperson asking if I was still in the market for a K5 GT and they let me know theirs has arrived and is available. I let them know "I'm no longer in the market, thank you for wishing me best of luck the last time we spoke; I purchased a 2022 Kia K5 GT with the GT1 package (coming on the 23rd) for $38,813 + tax, title & fees an hour south of you as they got 4 GTs in on allocation 2 or 3 days after you mentioned yours was a premium market adjustment of almost $8k." Terribble experience at Kia - Maul of Georgia. I STRONGLY ADVISE BUYER GO ANYWHERE ELSE - ESPECIALLY FOR SERVICE. I dealt directly with the owner, Chad Sutherlin. The problem starts at the top. Brought the c ADVISE BUYER GO ANYWHERE ELSE - ESPECIALLY FOR SERVICE. I dealt directly with the owner, Chad Sutherlin. The problem starts at the top. Brought the car in for "recall" and other service matters. I provided my concerns and the 'error' code print outs to Mike Taylor and Scott the service manager. They had it Tuesday - Thursday and returned with a bill for things I did not request. They said it was fixed. No it wasn't ---- why? because they were too lazy to address all "recall" items. The error codes I gave them were for a Brake-Pedal Stop Pad Recall on all Kia models. They NEVER addressed the issue of unknown battery drain (it's the 2018 Recall). They charged for some extensive electronic diagnostic which was 'very time consuming' they said. Paid, brought the car home - the next morning dead dead battery (which was brand new). Called out of state Kia dealership - and they immediately found the 2018 recall. It is literally a 20 cent part - Brake Pedal Stop Pad...and an easier fix. I asked Owner Chad Sutherlin, "Would he buy or service a car after learning of my experience?" Owner Chad Sutherlin replied, "Why would I buy a car, I get a company car." He apologized for "Their Failure to Provide good service" ----- but he kept the blood money.....Greedy Grifters at Maul of Georgia More

I live about 1.5 hrs from the dealership but Brent has kept me updated on all incoming inventory and has followed up many, many times. He even took a video of a car to help answer a question I had. His follow up never seemed disingenuous, he was professionally persistant. When I let him know we had gone in another direction, he was incredibly kind and congratulated me on my new car. The car buying process can be painful, especially as a woman, but Brent was very helpful. I would highly recommend. More
Had the 10 am appointment arrived early and check in for an oil change and fuse recall. Was told 1.5 to 2 hours. Waited there while the work was being done. 1.5 hours no word, 2 hours still no word provi an oil change and fuse recall. Was told 1.5 to 2 hours. Waited there while the work was being done. 1.5 hours no word, 2 hours still no word provided by the employee who checked me in. I want to find out what the delay was, find my car in the back lot not even serviced yet. I feel if I didn't check the progress I still be waiting today. Asked for manager, no manger on duty. As you can imagine I was upset, a multi-million dollar dealership that has no processes in place when. 1. No decision marker when the service manager is unavailable. 2. No oversight on new employees (my check in person was new) 3. No process where people that are waiting for service are not updated hourly on the progress. Is this the best a consumer can expect. Are we just seen as money and not paying consumer who deserve respect. If this is what Kia Mall of Georgia is selling I am not buying..... Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere..... More
